My wife Leanne came to Steven with severe pain in her neck/upper back (couldn’t move her head without sharp shooting pain, range of movement was severely reduced & there was a lot of inflammation around the area).

I was very impressed with the treatment that I received here. I was x-rayed to find the root cause of my sciatica, and all the treatment sessions were focused on resolving the issue, which meant that I made progress quickly.

I initially went to Northwood Chiropractic because I was experiencing sciatica pain and was also concerned about my posture and a noticeable “tech hump.” Since starting treatment, I haven’t had a sciatica flare-up, and my posture feels noticeably straighter and more natural.
What I’ve particularly appreciated is that the treatment hasn’t just been about the adjustments themselves. I was given simple, manageable exercises to do at home to complement the treatment, as well as practical advice on how to improve my desk setup for work and reduce the strain caused by sitting for long periods.
The initial consultation was very thorough and informative. Everything was clearly explained, including the areas that needed attention and the proposed treatment. Having an X-ray taken and then having the findings explained to me made the whole process feel much more targeted and gave me a better understanding of what was actually being treated.
Overall, I’ve found the treatment really beneficial. The explanations throughout have been clear, the adjustments have been great, and I’ve noticed a genuine improvement in both my sciatica and posture. Best decision I ever made! Booking that first appointment and having someone understand, help and plan a program to help you try and rectify years of neglect, was an emotional start to my journey.
Seeing the things on my full body xray proved what i had always known, something was very wrong with my spine (but no one really believed me).

I first started seeing Steven for a frozen shoulder which I have had for over 18 months .I had various treatments elsewhere but they seem to be just quick fixes which didn't work.Steven was very professional and explained how we could work together with adjustments and shoulder and arm exercises.I have so much more movement and less pain but this will be an ongoing issue to completely heal for a number of months.I really would recommend this clinic as Steven will set out a plan from the start and focus on the root cause of the problem to fix it long-term.

I found Northwood chiropractor mid April and started treatment almost straight away prior to this I had suffered chronic pain , rarely sleeping more than 2-4 hours a night , had not slept in my bed for more than 3 nights in a row since 2023 , constant pins and needles, huge amounts of pain relief . I’ve slept 7 nights in a row in my bed pain relief has reduced massively and pins and needles are not constant and I can walk distances without crying still a while to go but I’m positive it’s moving in the right direction thankyou x
