My husband and I looked online to find a little cafe in Lynton, where we could enjoy a cream tea. The reviews were great, so we came to The North Coast Cafe. We were so glad we did because they were definitely the best cream scones we have ever tasted (and we have eaten quite a few 😁). I had the coffee and walnut scone with clotted cream and honey and my husband had the ginger scone with lemon curd and clotted cream. Both were absolutely scrumptious 😋. The only downside is we are here on holiday, so won't be able to visit again until our next holiday! Thank you so much for great food, great service and lovely ambience....a fabulous experience ❤️

Stopped here for some lunch following a 5 mile walk along the coast path today. The service and the food were great. Really varied menu for a small cafe. I had pork and cider stew, a good substantial alternative to soup for lunch. My husband had the North Coast Club Sandwich and was very impressed.

We popped in to this lovely cafe for lunch today. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. We enjoyed great service and would definitely return when we visit Lynton again. I only wish I wasn't too full to try the scones as they looked delicious!

Absolutely outstanding. We travelled from Bath to do the Valley of Rocks walk and stopped here for lunch.
Both my partner and I were amazed at just how good everything was. We ordered a flat white, a Mocha, the BLT and the Little Hog Bagel
Both the coffee and the food were 10/10. I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob and my partner doesn't even really drink coffee. We both loved our drinks.
Our only disappointment is that we live over 2 hours away and can't come back regularly

What a find! This is a fabulous cafe with an excellent menu and a welcoming atmosphere. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and I highly recommend trying one of the stews with the herby scone topper. Thank you!

Fantastic lunch
Came here for lunch with the family after a long walk at Watersmeet. Lovely restaurant and great service. Food was fantastic. The chilli sin carne and club sandwich in particular were great. Highly recommend.

Warming Winter Stews n Scones😋
Whilst on another brief break in Lynton we had to call in to try another of their great stews. This time we both had steak and Guinness with savoury scones on the day we arrived. Then on the Saturday I tried the Pork in cider and my wife had the Lamb and Ale followed by the North Coast Six. (Scones) All absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and pleasantly served. A great location in the centre of old Lynton. Well worth a visit

Fantastic find. Great cafe lots of choice. Delicious scones I had apple crumble and it was amazing. I'll certainly be trying the savoury scones next time. Great coffee as well. Brilliant service highly recommend this place for a visit, when your in Lynton North Devon.
