With out exceptions, our 13 day Nordic ski tour with Peter was the best experience ever. Each skiing location and accommodation was excellent and truly mind blowing. It is so refreshing to travel with a group of like minded cross country skiers. Both Emma and my self had amazing experience one after another. This tour is a must do.

Breathtaking ski tour Our February/march 2026 13 day cross country dolomite tour was truly spectacular, Emma and myself had the most wonderful experience with like minded people. Every location was breathtaking. This is a must do tour if you in to cross country skiing.

A truely amazing trip. One of the best holidays I have had. We stayed at four different locations, each one very different, each charming in its own way. My XC skiing also improved immeasurably. I can't recommend this trip too much.

An amazing XC skiing trip! A really amazing trip. One of the best holidays I have had. We stayed in four different locations, each one charming, each one notably different. The XC skiing was amazing. My skiing has improved immensely. I can't recommend this trip enough. Peter went above and beyond to make it all work and to make us all feel very welcome. I plan to do this again.

Very well organised and researched ski trip. We stayed at some lovely hotels and skied every day (if we wanted to!) The scenery was absolutely spectacular at all the Dolomite locations, and the tracks always groomed perfectly. I would definitely go back again.

Skiing the Dolomites was such a memorable experience 💙 Such an amazing xc skiing experience! Everything from hotel selection, skiing venues, ski clinics and more were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for Pete to organise, which made the trip an unforgettable bucket list adventure.

Every detail was meticulously organised from our transport, to accommodation, to meal venues, to trail fees. Every day saw us skiing in new locations with the most spectacular scenery! We had a dream Dolomites ski trip this February. Absolutely spectacular scenery, excellent snow conditions and perfect weather. It was an experience we could not have created by ourselves. Peter provided a smooth, flexible and relaxed trip, with all logistics taken care of. We went to a range of cross country areas which had enough variation to suit all ski abilities from beginner to advanced. Peter also provided lessons and I feel that over the 12 days of skiing both my fitness and skills improved immensely. The food and accommodation were exceptional and also personalised. We didn’t stay in impersonal hotels, but uniquely friendly and family oriented. I highly recommend Nordic Ski Adventures for a great introduction to cross country skiing in Italy.

Nordic ski adventures Amazing trip with Nordic adventures. This is my second trip with Pete, the first one was fantastic and this one even better. Skiing venues superb, accomodation wonderful and food sensational. Pete had organized everything so well and even changed our venue last minute when snow fall was marginal for a few days. Loved our group and the options every day catered to everyone. Highly recommend if you want a brilliant ski trip overseas.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday in Italy and were totally blown away with the whole experience provided by Nordic Ski Adventures. The trails we visited were extensive, varied and well maintained, the hotels we stayed at were comfortable and well located, and the whole trip was well organised and communicated to everyone. Going on a 16 day guided ski tour with Pete was a wonderful experience. It was actually a holiday. We just had to know what time to be in the lobby each day with our gear after the great breakfast, then we were taken to the trails of choice for the day and given great tips on how to best enjoy them. A wonderful part of the trip was the anticipation of where were going to ski every day. The locations were spectacular and just kept getting better and better. One of the best part of the trip was the food. Being able to enjoy a wide variety of foods especially at the cool refugio's we often skied into for lunch, or a restaurant near our accommodation was delightful. The variety of locations we went to created many special memories. We rarely skied the same trail twice and the mountain scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Thanks Pete for your knowledge, experience and helping us enjoy a part of the world you are very passionate about. We loved it and would certainly highly recommend it to anyone who loves to cross country ski.

Our 16 day nordic ski trip to the Italian Dolomites and Alps was superb in every way! Skate skiing on beautifully groomed trails, with stunning scenery and fuelled by delicious food was the best! Having all the details of accomodation, transport, meals and ski logistics organised by Pete allowed for a fully relaxing but active holiday. I highly recommend Nordic Ski Adventures!

Loved our 16 day cross country ski trip! New friends, amazing food, lots of laughs, lovely accommodations, oh yes and the best cross country skiing. There was so many great days of skiing I can’t pin point a highlight! The day would begin with a scrumptious breakfast, ski to a Refugio with stunning scenery , have a wonderful hearty soup for lunch , ski for a few more hours, take lots of photos , marvel the historic buildings and local farms along the ski trails, catch a bus if you are tired, enjoy another hot chocolate with whipped cream and not feel guilty, then keep skiing! Pete took us to many unique local restaurants for dinner, the food was delicious, the highlight was in Saint Martin, where a farm was attached to the restaurant and you could peer through a window from the dinning table at the miniature horses and donkeys in their stable, whilst eating the best chocolate apricot torta for dessert. I recommend Pete’s trips , with 5 stars, well done Pete.

Peter helped me organise a custom self guided 2 week cross country and down hill ski tour in the Dolomites for January 2026. He was transparent about his costs (which were very reasonable) and all the information he provided was enormously helpful to me. He was prompt in reply to my questions, and altogether made the organisation of this trip a pleasure.

A ski holiday with Nordic Ski Adventures is the perfect way to truly experience the beauty of the Italian Alps. Pete expertly guided our family group of varying XC ski abilities ensuring that we each got the most out of our trip in and around Cogne. His experience and expertise on the trails meant we all came away better skiers than we started, and his discerning choice of ski trails during the day, restaurants in the evenings, and boutique accommodation meant all bases were covered – gorgeous scenery, fantastic food and wines, and a cosy place to relax at the end of the day. Our week flew by, and we were all sad when it was time to leave. I highly recommend Nordic Ski Adventures for a perfect Italian skiing experience. Grazie mille Pete!
