I've been looking for a dermatologist for almost 3 years since moving to the Raleigh area. My experience with another practice was not very good. I had my first appointment with Dr. Husain this morning and it was a great experience. He is thorough, communicates well, extremely knowledgeable and professional. His staff is friendly, thorough and professional as well. If you're looking for a new dermatologist, I highly recommend Noor Dermatology!
Follow up: I had my second appointment last week for a preventative procedure and I continue to be very impressed with Dr Husain and his team. The procedure was quick, painless and healing well. Anyone looking for a dermatologist should definitely consider Noor Dermatology!
2/11/25 My awesome journey with Noor Dermatology continues! I recently had PhotoDynamic Therapy and Heather Murray did the procedure, with the help of a technician. This was actually my 3rd PDT treatment. They made the procedure pain free and made me comfortable! If you’re looking for an exceptional dermatological experience, I highly recommend Dr Husain and his team! They make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door to the end of the procedure!

Super misleading and not transparent about pricing :/ I wouldn’t recommend unless you are okay to spend your money unexpectedly.
I called ahead and was told my first visit would be $175 total and that my insurance would cover everything else except the copay. When I showed up, AFTER the visit, I was told the visit was over $300, and that I still had to pay the $175 after insurance covered the rest. This right here, was never mentioned on the phone.
On top of that, the receptionist tried to schedule a follow-up but couldn’t even tell me the price? She just said they “don’t know until after the visit” How am I supposed to agree to something without knowing the cost? :/ money doesn’t grow on trees.
I’m okay spending $175, but as a client I look for transparency and honesty. That’s all I ask for.

Sasha, we genuinely appreciate you sharing your experience and understand how frustrating it can be when expectations regarding pricing are not met. Transparency is very important to us, and I'm sorry you felt that wasn't communicated clearly during your visit. However, we have noticed many patients do not fully understand their insurance plan and financial responsibility as it is confusing. Many patients have plan deductibles, which must be met prior to your insurance covering healthcare costs. It is difficult to determine an exact fee for your visit prior to your medical visit because you have not yet been examined by the physician. We do not know which CPT codes we will be billing for the office visit and any procedures until services are rendered. Also, the fees vary based on the individual insurance plan. In your case, your out-of-pocket deductible was not met so your claim would be processed by your insurance company and they would determine the balance you owe. Only your medical copay was charged at the time of your visit. We always encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to your visit to better understand your financial responsibility. You can certainly discuss your visit with them as they process your claim. We would be happy to discuss this further and answer any remaining questions you may have. Dr. Husain was very thorough and provided me a great regimen that I excited to implement. The staff was also very friendly and answered all my questions. I am looking forward to seeing the results that come from his recommendation. Thank you!

I have been experiencing some unexpected skin issues on my face and had an unsatisfactory experience with another doctor. So I researched dermatologists in the area and stumbled upon Noor. I just finished my first appointment with Dr Heather Murray and I can say the difference is clear. She was very personable. Didn’t rush me and showed an interest in my issues and concerns. The staff is super friendly! They live up to the reviews

My first time getting a comprehensive skin check & Dr. Husain and his team were beyond thorough. He is incredibly knowledgeable and gives many options. I also appreciate not feeling like he’s rushing between patients. I definitely found my forever derm!

This is true, so you can't believe the reviews. I was persuaded to give a five star review, and if I did, they would enter my name in a contest to win big product or service rewards.
I thought this was very UNEthical and extremely misleading the general public who depends on reviews to find good doctors!!!!! Low stars due to this practice.
Other than that. the staff was friendly, and I thought that the place was clean. I am sure they are a fine place to go.
I went for a skin check, They did not find a few skeptical spots on my skin that need to be removed, so I am finding a new doctor now.
They did not use paper on the chair although they said they sanitized it, I think that is important to do both. it made me feel uncomfortable with my bare skin touching the chair.

I'm so impressed with the care I received from my dermatologist! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. They also got me in same day! The treatment was easy and they addressed all of my concerns. Highly recommend!
