Ordered a few dished and it was shockingly TERRIBLE. The Chicken with Garlic Sauce was 95% onion and a few green pepper, 1% chicken that's the size of my finger nail and thin as paper. Same with the Beef with Black Bean Sauce. We could hardly find any beef, AND again, 99% onion and green pepper, because those are cheap. That costs us $29!! + tx + tip. The Dan Dan Noodle is just plain noodle stirred in some sauce, without any veggie or even green onion for garnish. It was $16 + tx + tip. I could have made this at home in 10 min for under a dollar and it'd taste better. The Pancakes were burnt. Their price were expensive which I knew, but at least give us something tasty. I can walk into any cheap take-out place for a $9 combo plate and would be way better than this. It was my son's B'day and they ruined it. I don't usually give such bad review because I'm Chinese. I've been in NYC for over 50 yrs. I'm over 70 yr old and had worked in many Chinese restaurants in my youth and know it's hard work but this is dishonest business and a total DISGRACE!!
Highly recommend this spot. The food was AMAZING and the vibes were great.
**Food**
I went with some friends and we had:
- soup dumplings
- pan-fried dumplings
- bok choy w garlic
- cabbage dry pot
- shrimp w garlic sauce
- rice noodles w pickles
Everything was awesome without exception, my favorites were the soup dumplings and the rice noodles but everything was delicious.
**Atmosphere**
The atmosphere is great, the place was nice enough for a date night but still a casual vibe, staff was super friendly and helpful. I could see bringing my parents from out of town, my wife for a date night, or even my sister and her kids for a family dinner (there were some kids eating there having a great time). Overall an awesome spot. I will definitely be back.
Absolutely phenomenal and a must go for everyone, I just wish they didn't take the chicken soup dumplings off the menu ): please bring them back

Hi Eli, thank you for your review and for enjoying our food! There was a glitch in the matrix, causing our chicken soup dumplings to disappear momentarily. However, they are now back!
The first time I went to Noodle Lane I was just looking for some noodles and was intrigued by the soup dumplings. The soup dumplings wound up being the best I’ve ever tasted. The next time, I wound up getting a side of the bok choy to make sure my daughter had some veggies with her meal. They were full of garlicky goodness that I have since dreamt about. On my third trip I found my favorite main dish. I fell in love with the dan dan noodles at first bite. Spicy and flavorful, I imagine craving them will be the cause of my next trip. Each time I’ve been there, the staff was attentive and friendly. It gets busy at times, understandably, but the employees work quickly without rushing anyone. I highly recommend Noodle Lane. All the dishes are fantastic, but my absolute favorites are listed above.
This is some of the best Chinese food in Park Slope, I won’t ever question that. I think the price is on the high side for the portion sizes. The interior is clean but there really isn’t any type of vibe to the place. Went here for dinner for kid’s birthday dinner and spent $175 (taxes and tip included in that) for a party of four. They charged a plating fee for the cake we brought too.
We still came back the following month to celebrate another child’s birthday but decided to cut the cake at home. Lesson learned!
I had really high expectations because it was rated so high. The cost was extremely expensive for Chinese food in this area but sadly it was not worth it. The noodles were good, but the sesame chicken was a let down. For a $27 dish, it was very disappointing. The price does not match the quality or quantity.
