Dr Niruben is an excellent surgeon, I had to see him for unplanned Gall bladder removal. An ultrasound found it was inflammed with multiple gallstones, some measuring 19mm.
I also have bad anxiety attacks in hospital and both Dr Niruben and his anaesthetist looked after me, I felt very comfortable with how they prepared me fof the surgery. I only had to wait 3 days for the surgery to be done and as there wasn't any real pain after the surgery, I was only in hospital for 24hrs.
I did have a flare up 2 days after discharge but again he was in the hospital to see me straight away and had the problem sorted.
He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure and answered all of my questions. He gave information sheets outlining each step of the surgery for post op reference.
I Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Dr Niruben to family and friends.

I would like to thank Mr Niruben Ragasagaram and Knox private hospital for the quick response to my badly infected burst gallbladder were gangrene had formed. Mr Niruben made me feel I was in good hands and took the time during the operation to make sure I was cleaned out properly. I had to stay in for a further 5 days on antibiotics to be sure which I feel I am. I would recommend Mr Ragasagaram highly. Knox nursing staff were great and thank you all very much.

It's been 1 year since my gastric bypass. It changed my life. I have lost 63 kg, down 4 dress sizes, have more Engery and are able to do things that we take for granted like tieing your shoe 👞 laces. But the biggest change and I am so happy about is I have been able to completely come off my blood pressure tablets. I was on 150mg and now nothing. Also been able to come off my aniexty tablets as well. So I only take my vitiams now.

I'm six weeks post op and couldn't be happier with my results so far. I had a hiatus hernia and always suffered with reflux. Since having the repair during my gastric sleeve surgery it's gone so no more medication for reflex. Lost 15 kgs so far can now put my socks on easily and my knee pain is not bothering me any more. Mr Niruben and his team have been great. I had a gastric sleeve done. After the surgery, I had gas pain (which is normal after surgery) but I never had any pain around the surgery site.
