Mijn vriend en ik hebben een privé fotografie workshop gevolgd van Nicholas in Buenos Aires. Wij zijn beiden beginners en hebben tijdens de workshop veel geleerd over de basis van fotografie en kunnen hier voorlopig goed mee oefenen om betere foto's te maken. Nicholas is heel vriendelijk, ontspannen en behulpzaam en naast dat we veel van hem hebben geleerd, hebben we ook een hele leuke ochtend gehad. Fun, educational workshop! My boyfriend and I attended a private photography workshop run by Nicholas in Buenos Aires. We are both beginners and learned a lot about the basics of photography during the workshop and can practice this well for the time being to take better photos. Nicholas is very friendly, relaxed and helpful and besides learning a lot from him, we also had a very nice morning. I definitely recommend the workshop for anyone who loves photography, at any level.

Ho trovato in Nicholas una persona disponibile, cordiale ed empatica, oltrechè un professionista preparato, serio ed attento alle esigenze del cliente. Attratto dalla semplicità espositiva unita a completezza contenutistica del suo blog, un po’ per caso poco più di un mesetto fa ho avviato con lui la frequentazione di un corso di fotografia online, nella speranza di poter capire meglio il funzionamento della mia Canon 2000D e di affinare la tecnica fotografica anche in ragione di un importante viaggio in Patagonia che di lì a poco avrei sostenuto. Sono molto soddisfatto della scelta per aver trovato in Nicholas una persona in grado di trasmettermi tanti concetti nuovi ed essere stato un valido punto di riferimento durante tutto il viaggio (anche per questioni non strettamente legate al corso di fotografia). Non dimenticherò mai la piacevole serata passata con lui e la sua famiglia a Buenos Aires, le mangiate di carne argentina e l’ottimo mate provato durante il giro fotografico in città dell’ultimo giorno (da lui intelligentemente acconsentito in cambio della sesta lezione prevista nel pacchetto fotografico). Sono felice che il corso online ti sia stato utile non solo per prendere maggiore confidenza con la macchina e con la tecnica fotografica, ma anche come supporto concreto in vista — e durante — un viaggio importante come quello in Patagonia. Sapere di essere stato un punto di riferimento lungo il percorso, anche oltre gli aspetti strettamente fotografici, è per me molto gratificante.

I try to do a photo tour with a professional photographer in as many cities as possible. Nicholas was one of the best photography tour leaders I have worked with. We communicated months before my visit to Buenos Aires which helped him tailor this tour to my ability level and interest level. His knowledge of the city, the mechanics of photography and the artistry of his craft made this tour not only fun but a learning experience that increased my knowledge of photography while also improving my photography skills. He even helped me plan the next step of my Argentine experience by helping me find a photography guide on my next stop in Ushuaia. However, my experience with Nicholas won’t end here as we have planned to follow up with an online editing class after I download my pictures at home. I could not have asked for more from any tour guide.

Best photographer in Buenos Aires I loved everything about this photoshoot. From the start, Nicholas was very prompt in responding to my inquiry via email and Whatsapp. I suggested an earlier time for the shoot. He has a child at home but he made it possible for his schedule to work out for this time. On the day of the meeting, Nicholas was very punctual and I felt bad because I was running late. During the photoshoot, Nicholas made me feel calm and he’s very skilled at getting the best shots and angles. He went above and beyond to get the best shots of me in La Boca. I appreciate that Nicholas gave me the original files of the shoot as well. The final photos turned out amazing as I expected them to be. I was traveling in Buenos Aires with my mom and her friend, both of whom are avid photographers. I booked a semi-last minute photography tour for them with Nicholas on our first night here, scheduling it for the following evening. I was able to message Nicholas over WhatsApp. He was very responsive and took all the information I gave him about our goals. I explained to him that while I was familiar with the city from having lived here, I did not really know what the optimal photo areas were, particularly when it comes to evening and nighttime photography. Moreover, since my mom and her friend were experienced photographers, they wanted to take photos of specific things (notably the street art in Palermo Soho). Nicholas was very helping in coming up with an itinerary for us. He met us at our apartment before the scheduled time and even brought two tripods for us to use (which we requested and ended up not using - poor guy had to carry them around for a few hours). We were able to shoot photos during the golden hour and at sunset into twilight of various views of Buenos Aires, in line with what we asked for. Nicholas is an extremely friendly and personable guy. It was clear from speaking with him that he's very passionate about photography. During our outing, he was highly attentive of our needs and even provided both my mom and her friend (who's an award winning photographer), many pointers and suggestions. It's rare to find someone who is so willing to teach others his tips and tricks of the trade, much less being able to effectively communicate them to others. I highly recommend Nicholas as a photography tour guide or as a photographer, and 100% wouldn't hesitate to schedule this again.
