We connected with Nicholas when looking for some live music performance for our annual corporate event.
During the planning stage and all the way until after the event day, Nicholas was extremely nice, responsive and professional!
On the day of, both Nicholas and his companion, violinist, arrived on time and delivered an amazing performance! We've heard so many compliments from the guests during and after the event! We know they both have been rehearsing a lot, as we had some special music choices. They nailed it!

We hired Nicholas to do the music for our wedding ceremony at The Met. He was absolutely fantastic! He was quick to reply to our questions, and was great at making suggestions for songs/tempo changes/timing/etc.
He came out to our rehearsal to help walk us through the timing of everyone getting down the aisle, and even had ideas to make some last minute adjustments that helped things run smoother.
The music was incredible. I played classical piano for years and come from a very musical family, and have such an appreciation for a great pianist, and Nick exceeded all my (and my family's) expectations. We would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a live pianist for an event. Very professional, and extremely talented! Thank you so much Nick!!

We hired Nicholas to provide live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour.
We received SO many compliments from guests regarding his beautiful music and the atmosphere that he helped to create. He had an impressive repertoire of popular music which we selected our ceremony songs from. I was also able to request a song for use in the ceremony that was not in his repertoire which he was happy to learn. We also leaned on him for recommendations regarding classical music selections during a few parts of the ceremony, for which he was very helpful.
Nicholas was so pleasant to work with and genuinely so excited for our wedding and to be a part of it.

Amazing! We hired Nicholas less than one week before our wedding giving him very little time to prepare. He was extremely accommodating, a pleasure to work with, and very professional. I was more than comfortable letting him choose the music for our wedding and he did not disappoint. Even though we were not able to him at the rehearsal everything still ran very smoothly, his playing was breathtaking and the music he choose both in the prelude and ceremony were perfect. He was an absolute delight to work with and his talent is just extraordinary. I highly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a pianist for their special event!

Nicholas provided some wonderful piano music for a Celebration of Life for my Parents. He asked for the songs my parents liked, offered suggestions on similar artists & songs, and learned a few special requests. He even performed a few requests during his performance. I also want to add that my second cousin who sang Ava Maria at the cemetery, also sang it again with Nicholas accompanying on piano. He is a pleasant and engaging person. Nicholas Deek was by far one of the easiest decisions we made for our wedding. When we started this process, I knew I needed to have live music for my first dance and during dinner. The thought of someone playing live just brings a different vibe and Nicholas nailed it. We wanted a classy and cozy dinner experience and that's exactly what we got. My husband loves the piano and wanted to hear some specific songs from his gaming days and I'll be honest, even I couldn't tell they were from a video game. That's how beautiful they sounded and Nicholas was able to learn them all. For our first dance I also wanted a singer. Nicholas was able to find someone who could work with our music selection and they both sounded lovely together. The overall experience from booking to wedding day was a smooth process and I couldn't be happier. I'm nowhere near the Ottawa area but Nicholas was that good that I had to have him at our wedding. Thank you for traveling all the way to Toronto! Nicholas comes highly recommended. I know he will put in the work to make any function memorable.
