While the patio does look nice, it is MUCH higher than we wanted. We wanted our patio to be as low to the ground as possible however, it is close to a foot above ground which is not what we wanted. Unfortunately, when we saw it was going to be much higher than expected, they had already poured all the rock and told us they could fix it but it would have to be another time and when they could get to it which would've left our backyard a mess for who knows how long. For the amount of money we spent I had hoped for much better results from this company.

We appreciate your feedback and we’re glad to hear you like how the patio looks overall. We do want to clarify a few important points regarding the height.
Due to the natural slope of your yard, the patio had to be installed at a specific elevation to ensure proper drainage and long term stability. Installing it lower would have created issues with water potentially sitting against the home, which can lead to more serious problems over time.
There was also an existing pad poured at the same time as the foundation. In order to lower the patio further, that section would have needed to be removed, which could risk compromising the integrity of the foundation. That is not something we are willing to do unsafely.
Additionally, the request for the patio to be flush with the ground was not brought up until the day of the pour, when materials were already placed and the concrete truck had arrived.
After speaking with your husband, we did offer to return the following week, weather permitting, to make adjustments where possible. We never left the situation unresolved or ignored your concerns.
Our goal is always to deliver a product that is not only visually appealing but also structurally correct and built to last. Sometimes that means working within the limitations of the property to avoid future issues.

These guys were truly amazing. The workmanship speed and professionalism was beyond what I thought I would see. They’re friendly, ready to answer questions as they rise, and replaced the driveway that was in very bad shape. From everything I know, the owner is an honest, open, trustworthy man you can tell the people that work for him are treated well.
