My daughter (13) loves the youth classes. As a parent it is great to know she is being taught the correct technique. Highly recommend jason & the team at nexus.

This is the best gym experience available. It is fully dedicated and equipped for both serious powerlifting and high-level bodybuilding. The standout feature is the uncompromising quality of the equipment—it is all premium grade, featuring sought-after brands like Atlantis, Prime, and Nautilus. The entire range of specialty barbells and calibrated weights is also readily available. Beyond the facilities, the team, specifically Geordie and Ash, are genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. Five stars all around.

I visited Nexus Performance Gym yesterday, and I have to say—it’s easily one of the best gyms in Queensland.
Staff & Service:
Kivah, one of the staff members, was incredibly friendly and professional. Even before I arrived, I messaged the gym’s Instagram account, and he took the time to reply thoughtfully, making sure all my questions were answered. When I got there, he greeted us warmly and patiently explained everything. It really made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit.
Equipment & Setup:
There isn’t a single bad machine in this gym. Every piece of equipment is top-tier and clearly hand-picked. Some of the standout ones include the Prime row, Nautilus lat pulldown, various Integrity machines, and the Atlantis pendulum squat. On top of that, there’s an impressive range of powerlifting equipment—different specialty bars, accessories, and racks. It truly is a gem of a gym.
Atmosphere:
The vibe was fantastic. The members training there were all respectful and polite, which made the environment even more enjoyable.
Value:
The casual entry fee is only $20 per person, which is an absolute bargain for a facility of this quality.
Overall, this place sets the standard for what a serious yet welcoming training environment should be. I’ll definitely be coming back!

so lucky to have one of the only powerlifting gyms in Melbourne in the neighbourhood! there is a nice community vibe where everyone is welcome. Geordie is an expert in all things strength related and every piece of equipment has been carefully selected. would highly recommend to anyone in Brunswick looking to get stronger :)
