Worst surgeon ever. It's all about his ego. Gets up at 4:00 a.m. everyday to work out and then operates after he's been up for hours. You performed my surgery after being up already for 8 hours n botched it. He didn't care. He left me in trauma with extensive injuries following my surgery. Not only that he's a supervisor so in charge of others and works late into the night. Do you want someone working on you that's constantly working and not resting. This would not be a surgeon I would want to work on me ever again.
Dr McGowen is a fantastic Neurosurgeon! I had a T10-T12 fusion on March 4th. As of April 1st, I'm healing up, due to the processes that Dr McGowen has in place for surgery to after care. The whole process has been quite easy due to the care of Dr McGowen and his staff.
The entire team working with Dr McGowen and Dr McGowen specifically are all Aces -- skilled, knowledgeble, informative and personable. I am healing great and am confident of having a good and strong outcome.
I feel fortunate and am so grateful to be in the care of Dr McGowen and his team.
