So far our experience has been really good. We have had constant updates by email or phone calls, Eileen and the rest of the team have been brilliant & informative, and the initial set up was handled perfectly.

Don't use their services a few years ago we bought a property that was being advertised with a front and back garden when we viewed the property their kids were playing in the back garden when surveyors surveyed the place they valued property with back garden , you'd think that a solicitor would have picked this up turned out the back garden was staged as theirs but it wasn't theirs to sell so we lost £5000 worth of land

Following investigation of our archived records, the only historic matter we have been able to identify involving someone by the name of Michael Da Silva relates to a transaction dating back to 2008 – 18 years ago.
Given the age of the matter, and the fact that we are not even certain this is the transaction to which you are referring, we are unable to comment on the specifics of any historic transaction on a public forum. However, standard conveyancing practice is that the purchaser’s own Solicitors review the title documentation and any plans supplied to them and report to their client as to the extent of the property being purchased prior to conclusion of missives.
Purchasers are also provided with title plans and documentation in order to satisfy themselves that the property accords with their understanding following inspection and survey.

Appalling management, serious mistakes, and 8 weeks wasted. Highly unprofessional.
Our experience with Neilson has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. From the very beginning, the management of our property sale was riddled with unacceptable mistakes on their part.
It started with a serious error in the property listing itself. After we pointed it out, the corrections were delayed, and to make matters worse, they made a series of promises that were never fulfilled. The most frustrating part wasn't just their technical incompetence, but their complete lack of accountability and empathy: at no point did they take responsibility for their blunders or offer an apology.
Due to their poor management, neglect, and lack of honesty, we have lost 8 full weeks of vital time. They play with people's money, time, and peace of mind. Avoid them if you are looking for a reliable and professional agency.

Five stars. I had no experience at all of selling and didn’t know anything about Neilsons when we took on this sale on behalf of a family member. Neilsons turned out to be a great choice.
Starting from the initial visit, the Neilsons rep came across much better prepared and briefed than the rep from another estate agent, and she knew the local area well.
Special mention from me too for Kirsten Olverman, who went above and beyond on our behalf, and also provided a really helpful set of notes on the next steps after the closing date was over. Very sharp and on the button to talk to, and immediately likeable as well as highly experienced - presumably an ideal negotiator.
Another special mention from me must go to Jane (sorry, don’t know her surname) the viewing agent, whom I met when I was checking the place and hoovering before one of the viewings. She arrived half an hour early to check everything was OK, and turned out to be just lovely. I’m sure she would have made everyone viewing welcome and put them at their ease. After that encounter, I noticed that the house was so spotless after each viewing that I suspect Jane had been doing the hoovering herself at the end of every day, before she went home.
Very happy to recommend the team.
When selling your home it is good to have someone knowledgable and experienced in your corner, and this was certainly my experience with Kirsten from Neilsons. She was friendly and approachable at all times and responded quickly with sound advice throughout the process, handling everything professionally and promptly while I moved to another country with a significant time difference.
She pursued any hiccups or issues that arose determinedly to find a resolution. She was always on hand with strategies and recommendations and with a clear mission to get the best sale possible.
I believe had I gone with a lesser agency I would have had a far less favourable outcome, but thankfully with Kirsten's help I received the amount I wanted from my sale.
