Wonderful Safari Experiences
This was my first trip to India and Nature Safari had me covered from my arrival to my departure. My friends and I were on safari at Pench and Kanha National Parks. We saw lots of tigers, leopards, and even the elusive wild dogs! Guides were excellent and so knowledgeable, and made sure we had good views of wildlife while still being safe. Later, I took a 4-day Golden Triangle tour. That, too, was great, with wonderful guides and a safety conscious driver. Just watch out for the high pressure salesmen at the craft workshops (carpets, jewelry, marble) in Agra!

Satpura Tiger Safari Trip
From planning stage to trip completion Nature Safaris Ltd worked with us to ensure our 5 day trip to Satpura Tiger Reserve was exactly what we wanted. We stayed at Derwent Backwaters Lodge an eco- friendly lodge who really put the environment and ethical tourism at its heart. Our private naturalist/guide was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see 2 tigers. Food at the lodge was fabulous and we loved every minute of our stay. Nature Safaris provided excellent transportation to and from our lodge and booked our train tickets prior to our arrival ensuring our onward trip went smoothly. Our decision to travel with a local company was truly worth it.

A trip of a lifetime, and Nature Safari India helped make it happen!
This was my first time in India and I wasn’t sure what to expect. A friend of mine researched and found this company “Nature Safari India”, and what a blessing. From the very beginning we had a great experience. Trying to decide which of the many trips to choose from, and with the help of Ishana, she created an incredible one. The main goal for me was to see as many animals as possible. So that meant go on a number of game drives. I wanted to find the elusive tiger, along with other amazing animals. But of course I couldn’t go all the way there and not see the Taj Mahal! The trip was fabulous! Going on a city tour in New Delhi, a trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and then visit four national Parks, Satpura, Pench, Kahna, and Kaziranga where numerous rhinos roam. All the staff at Nature Safari India were friendly, kind and helpful. From my first meeting with Deed, who meet me at the international airport very early in the morning, to the drivers shuttling me from one location to another. All the people who worked at the lodges. They always had a smile on their face and showed me respect. However, I did find out that Indian food is not my favorite. At Satpura it is really authentic, but they did have a few things I liked. That didn’t sour me on the trip because I was there fore the wildlife. The other parks had more food options of my liking. The rooms were incredible, especially at Kaziranga. I liked that they had coffee and tea in the rooms along with some special cookies. I could go on and on about this trip but you will get tired of reading it. All I know is that I will never forget it and all the lovely people I met. I would definitely recommend Natur Safari India to my friends and family!

Unforgettable trip with Nature Safari India !
We heard about Nature Safari India from our friends who had gone on a similar trip. I cannot say enough about the excellent experience we had with this tour company. Their thoughtfulness, expertise and commitment to conservation is a breath of fresh air. We went as a family during October and our trip was comprised of Safari ( Tadoba, Pench and Kanha reserves ) as well as a tour of the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur ). During our journey any questions were promptly answered by Mr. Pratim and the founder of the tour company Sharad Vats. They were very quick to respond and always helpful. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the airport and whisked away to catch a fight to central India to begin our Safari journey. All accommodations were very luxurious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful and our naturalists for safari were top notch and engaging. I will be writing separate reviews on these . Throughout our trip we felt very well taken care of treated like family. This tour company is highly organized and will cater to any needs you may have. I was talking back and forth with the owner for a few months and he built out trip based on our specific presences and his knowledge of the areas. He was awesome! We traveled to each new destination via van. Drivers were safe and great! The van was quite roomy and comfortable as well. Safari was morning and evening. Lots of tiger sightings and great information about each reserve . It was magical experience and I was so happy to have a hassle free comfortable trip so I could sit back and relax ! Also I must add the food at all locations was amazing . You are in more rural areas and nothing can beat the farm to table experience we had. The next portion of our trip was the golden triangle. We flew back to Delhi and met up with our main contact Mr. Pratim. Our tour was phenomenal and we also did a fair amount of shopping. Our tour guides were great with time management and allowed us enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Special thanks to our tour guides in Delhi (Sanjeev), Jaipur ( Mann Singh) , and Agra for keeping us safe, teaching us and also taking some of the best photos on our trip :) We saw all the iconic places such as the Taj Mahal, Amber fort , Red fort etc. All accommodations were luxury hotels (don’t miss the Oberoi in Agra if you go🤩 ) and we could not have asked for more. Our driver for the golden triangle tour (Ramesh ) was skilled and very patient, keeping us safe on the road. Overall, if I could give this tour 6 stars I would! My family and I had a such a memorable time and everting was so well organized and on point. No hassles and professionalism throughout. Very good communication and fast response. They will cater to your needs and the founder, Mr. Vats is a true conservationist which gives you a piece of mind that’s they take jobs seriously. Finding an ethical and professional company offering tiger safaris is a safari in itself. Many companies claim authenticity and we made approaches seeking further information from several before feeling reassured by Sharad Vats’ responses.
Arranging an ambitious and expensive trip online is still anxiety-making, and there were moments when we wondered if we were investing wisely. None of our doubts materialised. Nature Safari delivered every step of the way and we could not recommend them more highly.
Their communication and responsiveness to queries was excellent, as was the way they managed every airport meet and greet. Our trip included a mix of time spent in major cities (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi) as well as two stays in national tiger reserves (Pench and Kanha). The accommodations booked were all comfortable, although they did vary in standard. Our guides were fantastic in the reserves and our city guides were also great with one exception, and the company responded well when we complained about him. Our drivers were also excellent, skilled in safely negotiating the chaotic uncertainties of India’s roads.
One highlight was our stay at Meru Vann, a beautiful boutique property owned by Nature Safari and located close to Kanha. We loved our stay here including the interactions with friendly staff as well as several awesome tiger sightings. As we wrote on our WhatsApp feed, “Love how an Indian owned company is showing big foreign hotel chains how conservation and tourism can be successfully combined. All while offering a luxury experience and gourmet food.”
Nature Safari gave us, two women in their seventies, an amazing taste of India and the opportunity to make the tiger and Taj Mahal photos of our childhoods come to life. We can't praise this company enough!
From our very first enquiry Ishana was responsive, informative and helpful. She patiently worked with us to tweak one of their itineraries to create the trip of our dreams. Her attention to detail and concern to understand our desires could not be faulted. And it was affordable! Costing no more than an off the peg itinerary with a European company where we'd have been in a group.
The trip itself lived up to all our hopes and we had the most amazing week seeing tigers, leopards and birds in abundance and a week visiting the cultural hot spots of India. All our guides we're experts in their area and our drivers were professional.

Our first -- but definitely not our last -- trip to India's Parks went beautifully
I am reminded by World Tiger Day that I am overdue to write a review of our trip! There were just so many photos to go through -- not only of tigers (over a dozen spotted, including some excellent sightings from cubs to large males, including a golden tiger) but elephants, rhinos, gaur and buffalo, nilgai, 4 different types of deer, 3 different types of monkeys, gibbons, giant squirrels and others, wild boar, jackals, dholes, mongoose, crocodiles and gharials, snakes, and of course so many beautiful birds (and owls . . . so many adorable owlets!). We visited Corbett (which is absolutely beautiful and allows you the chance to stay in the park), Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Kaziranga, along with stops in Agra and Jaipur with Keoladeo in between. All of the transfers, flights, hotels, etc. went smoothly, and our guides and drivers were excellent spotters. Thanks especially to Nature Safari India for being able to get us a replacement camera (same day) after one of ours was damaged in transit (our fault). We look forward to visiting India again.
