Failure Move
Certainly not masters of moving a gun safe. After coordinating the move including full pictures of the entire path of the gun safe through the house including final resting place and describing the move, Master movers booked the appointment, picked up the safe and when they arrived they begin asking about putting the safe in an alternate location. As they explained how they wanted all responsibility of damages for the move including my 4 garage steps, 6 feet of tiled floor and then up a flight of stairs w/ intermediate landing all on carpet including room directly off the stairs where safe was to go. I am not sure what they expected for flooring in a house but ours is typical: concrete garage, tile and carpet for a short distance. I am not sure of their question b/c it was shortest path, all other possible safe locations would require spanning significantly more flooring of tile or now possibly wood. They had no flooring protection or means to move safe. This is not a large safe - 20"x28" . They dropped off the safe in my garage to leave, now I will need to contact another mover to deal with this safe.
They also only take cash or credit card + 3.5% fee. I still had to pay them and offered to write a check. Horrible experience and now they have me in a real predicament and safe is not moved.
On site movers were very nice, but they had the 'boss' on the phone who was saying "get out of there...". I can not believe what they did and their attitude about it. And no offer of remedying the situation.
They could have told me all this when I requested move, provided pictures and even provided the specifications for the safe. Unbelievable.
