Hi Lance, I know this move was scheduled two days prior to the expected move date .

We understand how frustrating it can be when a Move does not go as planned and we sincerely apologize for the frustration that has caused.

After reviewing the details of this request, we determined that Moving a baby grand Piano down 19 interior jwooden steps with a turn posed high risk of possible damage to the Piano or the Home.
At Master Movers our priority is protecting not only the customers property, but the customers home. Sometimes that means declining a move if the potential risk is just too high.
While we regret the disruption this has caused, we feel it is more responsible to be honest about those risks, then proceed with a situation that could result in costly damage. We truly wish you the best in finding a specialized piano mover that can accommodate the situation

We always aim to complete a final walkthrough at the old home before leaving to ensure nothing is overlooked and that everything meets your expectations. Unfortunately, in this case we were not able to complete a walkthrough together before departure, which limits our ability to immediately address any remaining items onsite.

The only items left behind were a box containing alcohol/chemicals, two small water-filled plants, and a fire pit containing nails and debris. For safety and liability reasons, our team is unable to transport certain hazardous or restricted materials.

Regarding the wall scuffs, we never want a customer to feel disappointed with the condition of their new home. While minor touch-ups can occasionally occur during a move despite protective measures, we are always open to reviewing concerns and having a direct conversation about them.
