The (in) Famous Spanish Inquisition A wonderful tour with Daniel from Mysterium tours. He really brought alive a period and custom which is very integral to Spanish heritage . The Spanish Inquisition. Daniel spoke impeccable English, though born raised in Spain ( Guess his American genes ). He is truly a professional theatre and drama person, and made a 2 hour long tour very engaging with drama and storytelling. He gave lot of historical information and put the Spanish inquisition in its cultural context. While there was gore, macabre and tattle tales, he helped us understand the context and society in which the Inquisitions were happening. It was an infamous custom and till date is viewed as such, but Daniel helped us understand it better. And made it so much fun, even with all the horrible stories. I will not advise it for anyone below 12 years though. My son was the youngest in the group. It is not scary but can get overwhelming . I will also not advise it for judgemental adults You will enjoy it if you have a open mind and a strong heart :) Well done Daniel!

Great way to hear different stories We had the amazing Daniel for our Tour . He was extremely knowledgeable , an amazing actor and quite funny This tour is not so much a ghost tour and you will learn bits about the Spanish Inquisition. What we loved is that It is a different way to see Madrid and hear different stories to the normal walking tours . Due to being summer our tour was in daylight but this would be mood enhancing in the night

Great Walkabout with Sightseeing and Storytelling Took this walking tour with 2 boys, aged 8 and 14. Daniel was fantastically entertaining and engaging, and involves the group in his storytelling. Had a good walk around some well known sights in Madrid as well as some lesser known streets. Good brief history on Spanish Inquisition of course. Suitable for young kids with Daniel's clear and perfect English. The coolness of the evening made it more conducive for a walking tour. Worth slotting into your itinerary even if you're in Madrid for a short one like we are.

Inquisitive about the inquisition I was hoping to see an actual inquisition trial and perhaps some torture but at the end I was pleasantly surprised that no actual infidels were harmed. All kidding aside Daniel was very entertaining and we loved the streets and places he took us through!

Great Sightseeting with Ghost Stories! We had a great time with Isa in Madrid for an evening walking tour and stories of the Spanish Inquisition. She was very knowledgeable and set the tone with all the stories through her expression and professional composure.

Storytelling =learning in a fun way Daniel was a very interesting storyteller and we learned a lot that evening. I am especially glad to learn that the Spanish Inquisition was not worse than the inquisition that occurred in other countries.

Fun way to spend an evening in Madrid I've taken several tours like this in different cities I have visited and this was probably the most entertaining, in large part because of our "spirit guide" Daniel. Daniel was engaging and interactive, including everyone in our group. This is a great way to see the city at night and learn a bit of history and hear some silly, not very scary "ghost" stories. I really enjoyed this tour. My only regret is that I booked it at the end of the trip instead of the beginning. In addition to the stories, Daniel also has a lot of great suggestions about restaurants and things to do.

Wow! The best tour of Madrid ever. Danial was amazing. His skills in narration, acting, knowledge and a great sense of humour made this a five star tour not to be missed. He included everybody making it a group interaction and his knowledge of all things Inquisition seemed limitless.
