Our two kids fell in love with school at MSV and have carried over that sentiment as they've transitioned to public school the last couple years. My Spanish Village has been an absolutely exceptional experience for our family. Our oldest child attended for several years before transitioning to public school in first grade, and our youngest is now in "clase arcoiris - rainbow class" which is their equivalent to kindergarten. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this school.
The teachers are highly qualified, deeply caring, and genuinely talented at connecting with young children. Spanish immersion is woven naturally into everything they do, and the kids gain confidence and fluency in a way that feels joyful rather than forced. One of the most special aspects of the school is its strong emphasis on art and culture—our children routinely come home teaching us about artists from around the world, expanding our cultural horizons as adults as much as theirs as kids.
The school puts on amazing theater productions twice a year, with singing, dancing, and costumes, and there are also smaller dance performances throughout the year highlighting different Latin American countries. Throughout the year there are also special “gallerias” where children present their work and art from the topic of that month. The older kiddoes also present on special topics in science and art —watching five-year-olds confidently present facts about dwarf planets in Spanish is truly incredible. The pride and confidence boosts they get from these performances and presentations is amazing to see.
They also place a thoughtful emphasis on health and nutrition, with regular cooking classes where the kids prepare food and proudly bring samples home. We have accumulated so many keepsakes, videos, and memories from My Spanish Village that we will treasure for a lifetime.
Academically, the school prepares children beautifully for the next stage—our oldest transitioned seamlessly into public school and was completely on par, if not ahead, in math and science.
My Spanish Village is a rare gem: warm, enriching, academically strong, and deeply joyful. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

My youngest son went to MSV and we loved it. My husband grew up in Mexico and the curriculum and program is run very much like how he grew up, so the kids are not only learning Spanish but also learning the culture. Teachers are native speakers, very warm, and the school has wonderful events - a highlight is the dance performance at the theater. My only regret is not finding MSV sooner. We would have loved to send our older son but he was already in elementary school when we learned about MSV!

I cannot express enough gratitude for Ita, Robert, and the entire MSV staff. They truly go above and beyond for their students. My son doesn’t walk to school-he runs! He absolutely loves being there. I wholeheartedly feel that he is safe, loved, and continually enriched by his wonderful maestras.
I am amazed at how quickly my son has learned the language. He loves counting in Spanish, singing songs, and always leaves school with a smile on his face. We learned about Spanish immersion schools later than most, and our son started at MSV in pre-K. Given the late start—and the fact that neither my wife nor I speak Spanish—I wasn’t very hopeful that he would pick up much of the language. However, Ita was always positive and ultimately proved to be right. After about nine months, our son began speaking Spanish, and he picked up even more during his second year.
Both our son and we had a wonderful experience at MSV. Everyone, especially Ita, is incredibly enthusiastic about the children and offers a rich, engaging program. We only wish our son had started there at an earlier age.

Our kids have loved MSV each summer we’ve spent in California the past several years. They get an immersion experience, but they’re so supportive of our kids who aren’t native speakers and don’t get much practice during the year. The things they bring home each day they’re so very proud of! Art, cooking, funny creations for theme days, etc. The school is so well set up, with any kind of material, toy, space or supply a kid could need. And the kids always rave about what Robert cooks for lunch each day, I wish I could get them to eat like that at home. We’re so grateful to be part of the MSV community.

My younger daughter attended My Spanish Village from the time she was 18 months through Kindergarten. It was an amazing experience. Ita puts so much thought into the curricula and the teachers are wonderful. They are so loving and do such a great job supporting the kids. There are also many special events and cultural experiences. My daughter loved the dancing and productions. The costumes are so fabulous!
The program is very strong academically as well. My daughter was completely fluent when she left and she was more than prepared for school. My older daughter was too old to attend full-time but attended camps and some classes there. She also had a wonderful experience. Our family enrolled our kids at My Spanish Village upon our return from living in Chile, and it was an incredible experience from day one. The program offers a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, engaged, and excited to learn. The teachers are not only highly skilled in language immersion but also genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness.
Our kids thrived in this setting—developing strong Spanish language skills while enjoying fun, interactive activities that made learning natural and enjoyable. My two kids went through My Spanish Village and we had a great experience. We came from another Spanish-immersion preschool and we could immediately tell the difference in quality of the curriculum at MSV. The teachers were very engaging with the kids and they not only excelled at speaking and understanding Spanish but they also were set up with a great foundation for kindergarten. They learned the fundamentals of the alphabet, colors, shapes, basic math etc. we also loved all the cultural activities!
