Rise is a different approach to what we call going to the gym.
I have joined for a couple of months only.
What makes it different is the dynamic in the classes. Exercises are different depending on the day of the week and change every month.
Coaches are also very helpful.
Another thing that adds up is you can follow your improvement whether you are loosing weight or trying to change your body fat for muscle mass through the scale.
So happy I joined in.
A very different gym. Your only competitor is yourself. I have been going for over 2.5 years and have made enormous progress. I have lost weight and gained agilità and flexibility. A no-nonesense gym where the talented, experienced and empathetic coaches help you get the very best out of yourself at every session. Fellow members very soon become good friends. It's a great place to go to with lovely period. I never thought that I would last this long at Rise!, but here I am getting on for 3 years later - and feeling great!
*THE* gym for people who don't particularly like gyms, but want to work their bodies and get fitter. Group personal training adapted to each person's individual needs, in short, concentrated sessions, at convenient times. Varied routines so you don't get bored, excellent coaches, nutrition advice if you need it and, as a bonus, a built-in social calendar if you are so inclined.

A great place if you're just starting out (and even if you're not). It's unpretentious, friendly and fun. Come as you are and you'll be welcomed by everyone. I don't like gyms, but I love Rise. I'm fitter and stronger, have lost fat and gained muscle. There's zero judgement from anyone - just support and genuine interest in how you're getting on. Highly recommend.
Never thought I’d do over 50 sessions at a gym - I’ve had so many false starts over the years. What keeps me coming to Rise each week? The coaches are brilliant and so supportive, there’s a huge variety of exercises in every session, and the programme changes monthly so I don’t get bored. It’s great to be able to track real progress over the few months that I’ve been going. Still a lot to do, but at last I can honestly say I’m enjoying going to the gym!
Rise is a great place for fitness with really helpful and motivational instructors. The group sessions are always positive, everyone is friendly, and there’s absolutely no judgment. It’s accessible for all fitness levels and makes working out enjoyable. Personally, I’ve achieved improvements in my own fitness levels, and my overall mental health/ well being.

I joined Rise over 2 years ago now and I love it. The sessions are varied and provide a good mix of weight-based training and cardio and they are always adaptable to easily match your own ability. The coaches are great and always friendly, helpful and willing to give advice if needed. But the main draw for me is the convenience. I just turn up at a time and day that suits me (there are plenty of options to choose from) and complete the exercises for that session. I don’t have to think about it or plan routines myself, I just know I can turn up and get a good workout in. I would recommend anyone who wants to get into a routine of exercising but isn’t sure how or where to start to give Rise a try.
It is very well supported , especially Jon understands the struggles on getting into the habbit of exercise . People who are busy can benefit from rise definitely because of flexible schedules they have

Joining RISE is the best thing I’ve ever done for my health. I joined as I was lacking energy and wanted to get fitter. I have not looked back since. The coaches are friendly and supportive, the way classes are set up means everyone goes at their own pace whether new to the gym or super fit. The members are supportive and encouraging and the sessions change monthly keeping you engaged. You can track your progress in lots of ways keeping you motivated.So if you want to be consistent, see a difference physically and feel better in yourself then RIsE is the place.

I started my RISE experience in November 2018, when it was called The Academy.
I have had so many different and difficult life experiences since then, but RISE has remained a constant for me.
The coaches who have, like me, changed a long the way, are always encouraging, supportive and respectful of each individual member.
I’m nearly 69yrs of age, and yet that always seems irrelevant when I attend due to both the coaches and the members themselves?
RISE just seems to attract and keep a certain type of client. Always friendly, always welcoming, always inclusive, and who always look out for each other.

I’ve had a great experience at RISE gym. The coached personal training classes are excellent—well structured, motivating, and suitable for all levels. The coaches are knowledgeable and genuinely supportive, always offering helpful advice on exercise, nutrition, health, and overall wellbeing.

I joined RISE over 3 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. The coaches are brilliant, the classes are always fun, friendly and intimidation free.
The classes are challenging but your always encouraged to work at your own pace and fitnes level, absolutely judgement free from anyone else. Over the years my fitness has improved loads, I feel stronger, more toned and have lost weight.
There's early morning and evening classes so a time to suit everyone, and having my classes booked in helps me with the motivation to go. which is something I used to struggle with when I went to other gyms.
Overall an absolutely brilliant place and would recommend to anyone who wants to join an intimidation free, fun place to start or enhace their fitness journey.

I would absolutely recommend this group PT studio. I’ve lost weight, built muscle, and gained the confidence to tackle fitness events I never thought possible.
I’ve also made great friends with lovely people of all ages and fitness levels.
This is a supportive, ego-free and fun gym!

Coming up to my fifth anniversary at Rise and I can't see why I would ever go anywhere else.
The support not only from the coaches, but the other members, is brilliant.
I feel stronger than I ever have before and the session environment is very inclusive and not at all intimidating.

Ive been doing the group personal training workouts for nearly a year now. With the guidance and coaching I am stronger, fitter, healthier and lighter ( than I’ve probably ever been). I’ve been able to do exercises I didn’t think I would be able to do at my age (close to 50). I love the atmosphere, the coaches and having fun, so much so, I’ve now passed 100 sessions at RISE Macclesfield, and will be doing even more in my next year.
