Super disappointed. Called to have a new garbage disposal installed. We bought the new disposal. Very simple job. Very easy to do. My husband has done it himself more than once. We agreed to have a licensed plumber do it as part of a property sale. All we needed was an install. A 30 minute easy job. We were quoted by the technician a price of $486 plus $99 for the service call. So...to save you the math...that is Almost $600 for a 30 minute install of a disposal that we already had!! This is NOT acceptable!! The technician said the prices were set and there was nothing he could do. Ok, if the prices are set, then why don't they tell you the set price over the phone so as to not waste anyone's time? How hard is it to quote the set price and then state if the tech gets there and sees a problem or a complex issue, it could cost more? Do not waste your time. Call a smaller independent plumber. Support the independently owned businesses.
