Death is never easy, extremely difficult in my case and they handled everything beautifully. From reception to the director, everyone was kind, respectful and easy to work with. Reasonable prices as well. Hopefully they’re not needed, but if unfortunately death occurs, I certainly recommend their services.

The process was smooth and timely. Jeff DeRoo did a fantastic job in communicating and arranging our final plans. I had a small issue with a receptionist. I needed assistance with my loved one’s belongings and she was quite irritated I didn’t have an appointment. I knew they had just arrived from the hospital and asked for assistance to retrieve them. She ultimately assisted but made it very clear I should set an appointment before a future visit.

I can’t say enough good things about Earl at Mississippi Valley Cremation. I had a very negative experience with a different service when my sister-in-law passed. I was frustrated, angry and in tears. I called MVC and Earl explained everything very clearly and with so much compassion. He returned calls in a timely manner which was very different from my experience with the other service. When you are dealing with an emotionally charged death I highly recommend Earl and the Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial.

When my mother-in-law passed away we were but weren't ready for the reality of it. The people of Mississippi Valley Cremation came in and took such care of not only her but us during that time. They were extremely patient with us as we walked through the fog of grief and neglected our payment for a moment and even struggled to function enough to pick her up from them. The kindness, consideration and compassion they showed as my husband and I navigated through the darkness of death was and is so greatly appreciated. We were also blown away at the cost to cremate her, per her wishes, compared to all other local services. Hands down they are who we will be recommending to everyone in the future and moving forward. Huge thank you is deserved.
