Marvelous spot for live music, with obviously epic interior calling back to the 1932 art deco roots. Magisterial interior and cosmic atmosphere. Layers of stairs with cool turns and windows for noisy people watching. Worth exploring beforehand.
Well-run concession lines with Manhattan price points you expect to pay. Longer artist merchandise lines that moved much slower (the guy in front of me went shopping during the show much quicker). Kind and practice staff directing you everywhere. Solid security and everyone from inside to out was welcoming and cheerful.
Show acoustics matched the vintage starship venue. Made to make strong memories.
Totally insane bathroom crush at intermission that somehow worked out. But be ready to pop.
Reasonable crowd for my show (Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra). Older and mostly couples and friend groups (isn’t that always the case?). Zero solo travelers like myself that I could identify.
A theater that every other theater seems to echo, but Radio City had the scale and odd details and just enough idiosyncratic and period points. Must attend at least once for something.

I’ve visited here a few times for shows, yet was able to take a tour as my brother worked there as a tour guide for awhile. Pretty cool building, & if you take the tour you can get a picture with a rockette (bro got one for me free or I wouldn’t have cared). Would definitely recommend it, & then go find yourself a Sabrett Hot Dog with kraut, a slice, & knish…ALL so GOOD!
Went here to see a concert by Gregory Alan Isakov . The experience was honestly ethereal. I was not expecting the stage and the concert hall to be so magnificent.
And to add to that , the sound quality was top notch . There is some amazing sound engineering going on here ,made the music feel like coming Outta a studio
