Shady business setup, took advantage of my older parent who isn't savvy with plumbing and quoted and took a deposit for a job that was well above the standard rate. Ended up getting the job done by a better place for less than half the price.

Hi there

Unfortunately we don’t have any records of any deposits taken and works not completed from any customers let alone elderly. Please note, with any elderly customers we always ask for a family member or neighbour to be present to ensure they are fully aware of any works prior to commencing.

With this being said, we will deem this as a fake review and report it! Seems like another plumbing company throwing some hate.

But we thank you for taking the time to acknowledge a great family business, maybe someday you or your company can reach the same achievements.

Chaz Quoted me over $600 to replace a bathroom sink tap (I provided the new tap) and told me it would take 30 min... $1,200/hour felt expensive, I declined the offer and called another plumber who quoted me $220 for the same job. Looking at the google reviews now, it looks like they tend to rip off a lot of people.

Unfortunately my experience didn't live up to the promise. I paid $900 to unblock a kitchen drain — the technician spent about 20 minutes with a machine, showed me a video of the water "vortexing" as evidence it was clear, and advised me to pour boiling water down the drain. Two hours later it was fully blocked, worse than before he arrived. When I called back, I was offered an acid wash for an additional $600 rather than a return visit to fix the original job. When I asked for a refund, I was told "we can't guarantee the work" — which may be fair, but if the work can't be guaranteed, it's hard to justify the price. I'd also note that the website advertises "Fast unblocking from $49" — my initial quote for a grease blockage was $1,600. Worth being aware of before you call. I won't be returning.

Laurence was prompt and on time, and took the time to explain the work that needed to be done. I was told Jake would come around 11–12, but I didn’t receive any communication from him. I ended up calling Laurence at around 11:47am to check in and was told Jake would contact me, which he did at 12:19pm. I had to follow up myself to receive the quote. I don’t doubt the quality of their work, but the communication could definitely be improved. The initial quote was around $2k, but the final cost came to $2.4k.

Over quoted and never delivered I paid this company a 10% deposit for plumbing work that never went ahead — and despite multiple follow-ups, I’ve received no response and no refund. What’s concerning is that: • I was never issued a receipt, confirmation, or formal work order for the deposit. • No work was carried out. • No materials were supplied. • There is no evidence of any costs incurred that would justify retaining the deposit. After seeking a second opinion, the same work was completed by another licensed plumber for less than 25% of the original quote, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of the pricing provided. To make matters worse, another plumber from this same company previously quoted $20,000 for what amounted to replacing basic fixtures (shower heads, taps, laundry fittings). That level of pricing is not just inflated — it calls into question whether consumers are being misled or taken advantage of. Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL): • A business cannot retain payment for services that were never delivered. • Deposits must be reasonable and reflect actual costs incurred. • Failing to provide a refund in these circumstances may constitute unfair contract terms and misleading conduct. I’ve attempted to resolve this directly and amicably, including formal written requests for a refund but have been ignored. If this is not resolved immediately, my next steps will be: • Lodging a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading. • Pursuing recovery through NCAT (NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal). • Providing full documentation of this experience to support an investigation into business practices. At this point, I cannot recommend this company. Proceed with caution — particularly around deposits, pricing, and documentation.

Nick's excellent. The quote I was given to repair my toilet was fair in price, and before any work was done, Nick explained the process and cost attached to each step. The toilet was fixed in a fast and timely manner. Nick then took the time to look at two other issues for me, solving both.
