Would not recommend these people they did answer the phone fast which I do commend, but I called them for the first time ever just to get an estimate and the man that answered the phone said something and I’ve asked him to repeat it because I couldn’t hear him and then he had said make sure there’s plenty of blankets and I said OK and he said yes if there’s not plenty of blankets and or padding material that my men are just going to “WALK OFF” He’s like if we’re gonna do the job right we’re gonna do it right. So I said well that’s kind of funny if I’m paying you to do a job for you to walk off? And he’s like yeah OK, never mind well thank you and hung up. i would not recommend this company whatsoever. Maybe they had some bad experience with people they had helped move before, but that’s not gonna be everybody you deal with you should not take it on new potential customers. Very sly rude tone. I got. No thanks .

We had damage to several pieces of furniture that had to occur when we were having our furniture moved into a storage unit on 8-29-23.
We noticed the damage on 9-29-23 when a very good crew moved our furniture carefully into our new home. I pointed out a few damages to the crew at the time. I was present for both moves.
I tried several times to reach Tom and never heard back from him. Today, I finally was able to make contact with him. He was defensive from the start. I explained the issues to him and he denied everything and said the crew that moved us the second time denied what I had told them. He also made the comment that I was not being truthful because 'you were drinking the whole day'..which is a boldface lie...AND HUNG UP ON ME.
I am reporting this to the BBB in full detail and will consult an attorney.

The team showed up right on time (actually a little early), and I were efficient, professional, and genuinely nice guys. It was super hot and humid, but that didn't affect their performance at all. They had us all done in less time than they estimated it would take, and for a company that charges by the hour, that shows they truly care about the customer. They carefully wrapped and padded everything, even my large floor plants. Not one scratch, dent, or nick on anything. I highly recommend Hank's!
I hired this company because they came highly recommended. I received a quote of $140 an hour for 2 guys and a start time at arrival of my residence. On move day 4 guys showed up and I got charged $160 an hour. This was not communicated and I was not quoted for this. Only 2 of them were actively moving the entire time. My furniture was completely dissembled and reassembled incorrectly. It took over 20 minutes to figure out that my bed frame was backwards. I provided them the manuals to both pieces of furniture that they disassembled. As they were arranging my mammoth entertainment center I gave specific instructions. The shelves and bridge that brings the columns together were not fastened and aligned correctly and it is now warping my furniture. I was upset at the price and lack of communication. I just wanted my furniture reassembled correctly. Instead I got a completely unprofessional voicemail left by Tom that has made this stressful situation worse. I do not recommend this company because they do not communicate amongst themselves or their customers and are unprofessional in addressing the correction of their errors.
