Motown fire came out to my house to service my gas fireplace, the service technician Matt & Pete cleaned & check both my fireplace in showed me how to operate them wonderful job well recommend.

We had a great service experience. Our fireplace wasn't working correctly and the tech resolved the issue during the diagnosis visit. The tech was very friendly and helped share tips for good maintenance and common difficulties. He helped make sure everything was in working order and gave us confidence.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Lucas, Peter and Nathan for coming out multiple times to
finally solve all 3 issues with my natural gas fireplace. Also Steve and Zach in the office for coordinating the entire effort. Lucas came out the first time to replace the pilot assembly. Then Peter and Nathan came out 2 additional times at no charge to fine tune the pilot direction and clean out some buried air inlet debris to fix the other issues which arose after the first issue was resolved. The 3rd time involved Peter and Nathan working out in the rain with umbrellas for about 1 hr taking apart the entire air inlet and exhaust hood to remove packed in debris deep in the system preventing the proper amount of inlet oxygen to sustain the pilot and burner.
As an automotive powertrain engineer for > 31 years I fully understand that a problem doesn’t always have 1 root cause. As you fix one cause, others arise. The guys at Motown did not give up and came back until all 3 root causes were fixed. And to add to the situation, my house is at the outer perimeter of their service area almost 1 hr away. I gave Motown the business originally as Steve, the manager, actually took the time to have a good phone conversation with me when I called at the very beginning of this entire complicated issue. And each time I called back both Zach and Steve worked well with each other in the office to review and note the various issues as I sent them updated videos to help with the diagnosis. Motown also is located in my old stomping grounds which also makes me proud given their awesome work ethic.
Thanks again to Lucas, Peter and Nathan for the “boots on the ground” service work and Steve and Zach for sticking with me until the problem was completely fixed. The owner of Motown Fireplace should be proud of these guys who represented the company very well.
And I have to be complete by thanking my wife, Michelle, for the video clip assistance by relighting the pilot several times throughout the problem solving process.
I believe this is the longest and most thorough review of anything I’ve ever reviewed on paper, which also goes to show you my sincere appreciation. I will be looking to Motown for future home fireplace installations and have already passed their name along to friends and family.

I can’t recommend Nathan and Pete from Motown Fireplace highly enough! They handled my fireplace maintenance and a separate job with total professionalism. Not only was their work top-notch, but they were also incredibly good-natured and easy to work with. They made the entire process a breeze. If you want pros who are both skilled and pleasant to have in your home, these are your guys!

Motown Fire was a great company to work with! I scheduled my appointment in store, and the store manager was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The employee who came to my house - Devin - was also punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fixed my issue quickly, tuned up the fireplace, and gave us valuable tidbits of information as he went. He made sure all of our questions were answered before leaving. Another family member of mine also had an appointment with this company and had a wonderful experience as well. We both agreed that we could not have had a better experience with this company and would highly recommend them!
