I won one of their Facebook competitions last week - a £25 meat pack. This included a whole chicken which we had for Sunday lunch. Absolutely delicious. Today I made a lovely soup from the leftovers. We've also had the sausages which were very tasty. Looking forward to the steak mince later in the week. Great quality products. They also have a wide variety of pickles and sauces - great accompaniments for a cheese and wine evening. Great to see a local butcher advertising via social media and giving back to the community.
Highly recommended. My local butchers with great quality meats & other produce. I’m a massive fan of your ready to cook meals especially the yogurt & garlic chicken & bacon. I recently entered a Facebook competition to win a meat pack & with over a 160 people entered I couldn’t believe that I was the winner. The pack I received was huge which included a huge joint of prime silverside beef, 4 burgers, 10 sausages, 400 prime beef steak mince, 2 tikka chicken breasts & 2 prime sirloin steaks. Thank you very much for my meat pack.

Amazing butchers the quality of the meat is outstanding.their homemade pies are to die for it was nice to eat a pie that was full of meat and not air. They have daily + weekly specials which are amazing value for money. The staff are the best I've seen in a shop always happy and helpful with advice on cooking joints etc nothing is too much for them. If I could give more stars I would keep up the amazing work

I ordered Barbary duck. On the site it says they are sourced from 'North West France' - what came was duck reared in Poland - and no mention of Barbary. Other items in the order were also not what was claimed (or looked like) on the website. After contacting them they refunded the purchase. Unfortunate experience.
Proper bacon
Love a good bacon sandwich have tried lots in my location most full of injection water and shrink when cooking , I purchased some from Morton's and really good. I have returned and bought three kilos delivered to day in fantastic condition. Very sensible price for a top quality product I will explore more of the products from this company. I came to Morton’s fine foods after seeing a Facebook post about their tomahawk steaks, I was honestly shocked by the size of the steak they were advertising and the price looked too god to be true but I was sooo wrong, I spoke to Simon on the counter, he could not have been a nicer server, Simon was so helpful and no ask was too small, his knowledge around the cuts of beef and even how to cook was second to none.
Now the steak that I was there to see was absolutely gigantic!
I couldn’t wait to take it home and cook it.
Following the instructions Simon gave me it turned out amazing! It was so juicy and tasty! I honestly can’t wait to go back and get more advice and amazing meats from Morton’s fine foods!
