If you see positive reviews for Morris Bart’s Lafayette office, know that they are forced. When my case was over, the staff member literally held my settlement check in the air and told me, "I'm not giving it to you until you write a five-star review." They texted a link to my phone and forced me to click it and type out a fake 5-star review right there in front of them just to get the money I was legally owed.They did this because they knew I was unhappy. They took significantly more money for themselves than they originally promised me at the start of my case. On top of that, they hid the itemized bill for a specific pain management doctor who only saw me for 5 minutes, did nothing for me, and took an outrageous $2,500 directly out of my settlement check.This firm uses high-pressure tactics from start to finish. Demand to see a written breakdown of fees and every single itemized medical bill BEFORE you sign anything, and never let them hold your check hostage.

This law firm is sketchy and untrustworthy. They told me I was getting a specific amount and it was inaccurate. They also sent me to a doctor's office who charge me $1,600 just to talk for 5 minutes. It took over a year for me to get my money and when I went to pick up the check the reception is held the check in the air over her head and refused to give it to me until I wrote them a five-star review. So you obviously cannot trust the reviews. I regret using this law firm.

I would highly recommend Morris Bart's law firm to help you with your case. My lawyer was Mr Roderick James and he took care of not only me but my wife as well by answering all our questions and keeping us up to date.
