Did the Salida Valley trip with my two pups - first time rafting for my dogs, they didn't particularly enjoy it but us humans loved it, very relaxing and gorgeous scenery. Adam and Lisa were awesome, felt very safe with Adam as our guide. Look forward to going back without my dogs next time!

Adam went out of his way to make it a great trip for my husband and I. They switched up the route so we would have a better time in a different part of the river even if that meant they had to drive further. Adam was very knowledgeable and respectful of the water and land. Monumental is a family owned business and they go out of the way to make sure you have a great time. We’re already planning for trips back next season!

We had an amazing time white water rafting through Browns Canyon with this company! Adam and his team are friendly, professional, and you can tell they really love what they do. Because they’re a smaller outfit, the experience felt a lot more personal and less “touristy” than some of the bigger companies. They also kept the group sizes small, which made for a much more intimate and connected experience on the river. It honestly felt like we were rafting with friends, not strangers.
Our guide, Adam, was knowledgeable, funny, and made everyone feel safe while still keeping the adventure level high!
Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, safe, and memorable day on the river with a company that truly cares. We’ll definitely be back!

I've wanted to go white water rafting for years and decided if I'm going to do it I better do it soon since I am 67 years old!! What a great float! As you can see in the photos a portion of the ride was a little harry. Happy to say, l didn't fall in but I'm pretty sure God had a hand in that!!! Our guide Joey was a lot of fun and she did a great job of keeping us safe all at the same time. Would definitely recommend this small family owned business.

We had a great time rafting with Monumental Expeditions! It was a small group, and we were the first boat out on the water, which really added to the experience. The trip meets right at a campground where we stayed, which made everything super convenient. The guide was fantastic, the scenery was beautiful, and the whole day was smooth and fun. We definitely recommend Monumental Expeditions and would love to go again!

From the time of booking over the phone, Adam made us feel comfortable and excited for our first time white water rafting with 3 kids. It was a bucket list item for me, and it did NOT disappoint. It was the perfect mix of relaxing, unbelievable canyon scenery, and exciting class III rapids! Kids did great and we felt very safe. Adam was the ultimate professional. Our guide Adam was very accommodating and helpful planning our last minute trip. He was super knowledgeable and gave clear directions throughout the experience. Really appreciated all of the gear they had available including water shoes and wet suits for our kiddos. Also liked that this was a small, intimate, agile tour group and not a giant tour of several boats which you will see a lot of in the area. Overall great experience, core memories made and highly recommend for those with younger kids. We will be back!

We highly recommend Monumental Expeditions Rafting. From the moment we booked until the very end of our trip, everything was handled with professionalism and care. We chose this company specifically because it’s family friendly, and we were so happy we did. Jason was great- our kids seriously had the best time! The rapids were fun yet just challenging enough for them, and our kids didn’t stop giggling the whole way. I also loved the smaller group size, which made us feel like valued individual clients rather than just part of a crowd. It was a beautiful, memorable adventure. We will use this company again!

We had the most amazing time on our first rafting trip in Browns Canyon. Adam, the owner was our guide and he was awesome! I was nervous, especially for our 8 year old daughter, but he helped select the right trip, covered all the safety precautions and was an excellent navigator down the river. He knew every aspect of the river and prepared us for what to expect. We all had the best time and I would highly recommend rafting tours with Monumental!
