We had stairs and our study carpeted and we’re really pleased with them. The guys were efficient, reliable and fitted the carpets quickly and professionally. Prices were much better than other carpet shops that I’d look at too.

I contacted this company after spotting their unit next to where I’d left my car in for work. The owner, Stephen, was abrupt and rude on the phone, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I explained I needed stair runners fitted and sent photos for a quote.
No reply all day. Late that evening he texted, “Very busy today, I’ll get a look at it.” I replied, “Forget about it, I’ll go elsewhere.” His response? A row of laughing emojis 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Totally unprofessional, arrogant, and disrespectful. If this is how he treats potential customers, imagine the service you’d get once he’s paid. Avoid.

Your photos arrived during a busy work day while we had pre-arranged appointments and, as explained, we were very busy. It isn’t reasonable to expect a small business to stop everything and provide a same-day quote/advice on demand for non-urgent work. Despite that, we still responded to your further text later that evening — outside business hours — to let you know you had not been forgotten or ignored and that a follow-up would be sent.
Your request was actually being worked on when you sent another text saying " Forget about it I will go elsewhere".
The decision to cancel your request before we even had the chance to provide your quote/advice was entirely yours.
We also notice that the majority of reviews you have left for other businesses are 1-star, which suggests you may be a difficult customer to satisfy — so we won’t take your comments too personally.

Fantastic service from everyone at Moffett Carpet & Floors - from in the showroom helping me choose my carpet to Stephen coming and measuring up and Michele organising the fitting over 2 days at times that suited making it easier to get the rooms cleared and ready. The fitters did a great job, were incredibly quick, and carried all the old carpet out to the boot of the car for me. They couldn't have been more helpful. Overall, a really professional job at a great price. Can't recommend highly enough.

Treated like an idiot. Left in 2 pieces of carpet off cuts for binding and got them back..one with a splash in it. Was told it was left in like that. No discussion no refund just fobbed off. Disgusted with the so called service. BB,s

Sorry you had a bad experience at Moffett Carpets and Floors, I can assure you that is not the way we try and conduct our business. The carpet was damaged when it was left with us so we naturally assumed you knew of it. Had the carpet been accidently damaged by us you would have been informed of it upon collection.
We had a really great experience with Moffett Carpets and floors. From the friendly and helpful sales staff, to the quote being able to be done quickly, and to the fitter doing a really good job. We are so grateful to these reviews that helped us to find them.
