Memorable experience with Mirindra Adventures The trip was well organised. Cedric the guide and Tojo, the driver were very helpful and friendly. Animals are interesting and some are unique in Madagascar. Overall, it was a satisfactory trip and I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I have been on many tours around the world and I feel thrilled to have met Rija and toured with Cedric and Tojo around Madagascar. Rija rocks! Wonderful driver and guide for Madagascar Me and my partner had a wonderful trip to Madagascar with Rija. We spent 15 days in Madagascar and this was an amazing experience that we will never forget, thanks mostly to Rija. We ourselves organized the trip in advance with Rija's recommendations. However, he was absolutely flexible when we wanted to do some last-minute modifications. During the trip, we highly enjoyed the conversations with Rija and his wide knowledge about cultural, historical and natural insights. He is a very good and skilled driver, who gets on very well in the bumpy roads of Madagascar. It is also important to mention that he offered a very good pricing.We also had a day tour with some of Rija's colleagues, and everything went like a charm. The younger guides in Mirindra are also super nice, and have great knowledge.We would not change anything about the trip. We would highly recommend Rija and Mirindra Adventures to anyone who considers to travel to Madagascar.

Fun, informative, and personalized trip and adventure in Madagascar. I had a wonderful trip to Madagascar with Mirindra adventures. Rija planned a 4-day tour of Tana and Andasibe areas for me and it was an absolutely excellent travel experience. After booking this 2 day tour from Trioadvisor, Mirindra was able to arrange remaining logistics for me including airport pickup and activities in Antananarivo. Certainly not something I would have been able to manage to plan alone. I was traveling solo, and was able to have a custom itinerary created despite the short trip. Everything was managed very well from pre-travel communication to making changes after I arrived in Madagascar. The accommodations he chose for my trip were excellent. Mirindra works with a team of reliable and superbly informed local guides (even though he pretty much knows everything himself) and it seemed that he could cater a trip to meet almost any preference. His 4x4 that we used for travel was reliable and comfortable. Most of all Rija himself was a wonderful person to spend this trip with. We had conversations across the board about everything from lemur conservation to sociopolitical issues relevant to the local context and I really appreciated that. I would not change anything about the trip Rija planned for me nor the way it was executed and would highly recommend Mirindra to anyone considering travel to Madagascar.

Fantastic and memorable experience! Unforgettable two day excursion! Our guide Cedric was very kind and knowledgeable. He spoke great English and helped translate when needed. In a short time, he taught us so much about Madagascar, Malagasy language and culture, and all the amazing endemic plants and animals. Our driver Tojo was very friendly, he expertly navigated the roadways and made the drives fun.Each individual tour was special and the local guides were all helpful and informative. The accommodations were great. My husband has dietary restrictions and was well taken care of. Be sure to bring enough Ariary to tip the local guides and hotel staff, in addition to your main guide and driver, as it is much appreciated and helps support these hard working people!We would highly recommend booking this tour. Amazing two day trip with great guides - Cedric and Tojo This was a great two day tour that saw everything we needed to. Thanks to our amazing guides Cedric was very knowledgeable and Tojo was a great driver. We strongly recommend them for any tours. If we come back we will use you again for another trip.

Lemurs and forest in short stay Our 2 nights trip to Andasibe area was a perfect way to see lemurs and experience the forest. We loved our hotels and our guide Cedric was very kind and helpful. Tuzu our driver was excellent on the challenging road and we felt safe.

Lemurs galore! Our guide was friendly and efficient and overcame any administration glitches along the way. our driver coped with the difficult road and traffic conditions well. The hotel was in an amazing setting about 5km along an unpaved road from Andasibe - luxury chalets, spotlessly clean in an old style, very good service and good food.The tour guides spoke English well enough to share information about the fauna and flora. We were lucky enough to see seven species of lemur in the reserves, including Indri, Diadem Sifaka and Brown Lemurs living naturally. Truly a memorable trip.

Madagascar certainly delivers Mirindra tours certainly delivered. The driver and guides were ON TIME by all departures. Local guides were very keen on giving the tourists the photos and experiences they come for. Friendly, smiley people also at the lodge where you stay overnight. A great adventure An amazing tour of the rainforests of Madagascar that was a wonderful introduction to the flora and fauna of the country. The tour operator did a fantastic job ensuring we kept on a good schedule and the tour guides were exceptional in finding even the most elusive lemurs during our treks. The hotel was also delightful cabins with delicious cuisine.

Fabulous time in beautiful Madagascar Just came back from the most wonderful time in Madagascar which started with a 6 day tour with Mirindra Adventures. I knew I wanted to go to Andasibe and see the lemurs, and I had a little more time in the east before going to Sainte Marie island, but I didn’t really know what to do with it. Rija recommended the Pangalanes canals and the Palmarium Reserve, but I’d never heard of it. Thank god he did, because I’d have been so upset to miss out on it! The Palmarium was just magic! I’m a solo traveller so it was really so nice to have good company with Rija and our driver Tojo. They are really lovely guys and Rija looked after me so well, and really went above and beyond what I could have hoped for. Hiring a private guide was a big step for me and not something I’ve done before for more than a day, but I needn’t have worried. Rija is an absolute diamond and I 100% made the right decision when I chose Mirindra. I had a spare day in Tana after flying back from Sainte Marie, and after having great time with Mirindra adventures in the east earlier in my holiday, it made sense to stick with them, so I opted to do a whistle stop day tour of Ampefy, west of Tana (which is normally done in 2 days!). Cedric was my guide as we visited the Geysers, Itasy Lake and the Virgin Islet, and he was lovely company for the day, very knowledgeable and he kept his humour for the many hours we spent in dreaded Tana traffic! Andasibe and Ampefy tours I have only good things to say about my Mirindra Adventures trip to Andasibe. It was completely well planned and communicated and went without a hitch. Cedric and Tojo were excellent guides and Driver respectively. The tour includes four different parks, including a chameleon/gecko park, a visit to lemur Island, a community-owned Park, where we did a night hike, and a park the next day where we saw the wild Indra lemur and crocodiles as well as other animals. The diversity of our life was amazing and unlike anywhere else I have been. The hotel was impeccable. At each park there were included guides who were generally very good. Patrick and his son, Michael, were extremely knowledgeable and so helpful in finding animals and plants. They are well educated in wildlife and licensed guides who know a great deal and answer all the questions. I had an extra day so I requested an add-on trip and they were very accommodating. I saw the geyser, waterfall, and the lake that wraps around the statue of the virgin in the middle of the country. It was an opportunity to see another part of the country (west of the capital) and also very interesting. Top score for Mirindra tours!

Three-week trip in Madagascar I had a three-week trip in Madagascar with Mirindra Adventure. After one week of solo travel in the south along with RN7, my sister joined me to visit the West and East. I communicated originally with Rija, who was very helpful in figuring out the details of our trip, and Haja was assigned as our driver for the entire trip. When my sister arrived in Tana while I was coming up from the South to meet her in Antsirabe, Rija picked her up and brought her to our meeting point. This was done very smoothly even though my sister spoke no English (let alone French). Haja was great all the way through. He is a very safe driver, gently and kind, remaining positive and considerate throughout the long drives. Both my sister and I were rather physically challenged, but Haja ensured we got good local guides and joined them in helping us navigate difficult terrains. He remained flexible and responsive when our interests were sparked during the travel and wanted to visit additional sights not originally planned. I could not have asked for a better companion for our adventure. Thank you!

12 unforgettable days in Madagascar We spent 12 days with Mirindra Adventures to visit Ramonafana, Tsingy and Andasibe National Park. The Booking Referral went without any problems: we made a request with the rough route and schedule, which was checked by Rija for plausibility and adjusted on two days. Trust the guys here who know what's possible! After a deposit and confirmation from the provider we were picked up on time to the minute by our driver Setra. Punctuality criticism and reliability have stretched over the entire 12 days. Setra is a great driver and we felt safe even with the crazy traffic in the cities or the bad roads in the west at all times. We had a few long drive days over 8 hours, but these were no problem. It was always made sure that after 3-4 hours we take a break at a good restaurant, even without demand from us. Setra is a very pleasant person who speaks very good English and is very approachable. Particularly striking was that he gave everything to make our stay in Madagascar as we imagined it. Here you can see that he is there with heart and soul and enjoys his work! Even the guides for the national parks were organized by him. Our wishes such as short stops or inquiries about the country were always taken into account. As a result, we got to know a lot of the country. In our view, all this goes far beyond the work of a driver. We were also skeptical about exploring Madagascar with a driver at first, but were very happy to have Setra at the end. The car was in perfect condition and we had no problems with it. It was even cleaned after dusty streets. All in all, we are enthusiastic about the offer and the quality displayed here. We can highly recommend this provider!

An excellent tour I have visited 99 countries and can say that my two-day tour to Andasibe with Mirindra Adventures was excellent. Cedric was a wonderful, personable guide who did well to coordinate every part of my visit enroute to/from and in Andasibe. The tour provided a nice balance of driving with stops, as well as ample time to see a variety of wildlife, including many types of lemurs. The local guides (and Cedric) also did an amazing job at finding and pointing out wildlife on our various walks/hikes. Elian as driver did a wonderful job safely navigating the roads to and from Antananarivo. Ask for Cedric and Elian for a safe and once-in-a-lifetime visit to the National Park!

17 days in Madagascar with Rija and Haja Spent 17 days visiting Tsingy, Ranomafana and Andisibe national parks with Rija and later Haja. They were both incredibly kind, informative and helpful to ensure that our trip was a memorable one. We’ve recommended Rija to all our friends! When trying to plan our three week Madagascar adventure, I contacted eight high-rated local agencies to get a proposed itinerary. Though all had roughly the same prices for my proposed travel route, only Rija ensured he would be our guide. Many of the bigger agencies simply freelance a number of guides and could not guarantee who we would get. In the end, our decision to use Rija and Mirindra Adventures was an excellent choice. Rija was pleasant, a very safe driver and provided the right amount of information and tour stops to make the trip (some very long driving days) always enjoyable. Madagascar quickly joined our favorite countries ever, in part because we had such a great experience with Rija. Thank you!
