I’ve been coming to Midtown Dental Care since moving to the city, and I would highly recommend them.
Sally is an amazing hygienist, she really takes her time to ask you questions and answer any you might have, she also makes you feel at ease, and very gentle and efficient when she is doing the cleaning. Makes coming to the dentist stress free.

Please be wary. Surprise cost after procedure, still in pain over a month later. Not gentle. Dentist who performed work was Rastegar.
Update on 2.12.26 - Went to another practice after having this crown seated by Rastegar in May 2025. Tooth is still in major pain, still loads of sensitivity and looky looky, he damaged my tooth nerves when he hastily and poorly seated that crown.
So now I may need a root canal. Please look up Rastegar when he had his own practice before you believe all of these 5 star reviews. Do not book any appointment here!

Very nice office. My hygienist Sally Mayo is the best. Dr Rastegar and his entire staff are wonderful. Very kind and professional!! Highly recommend this office.

This was my first time at Midtown Dental, and I had a great experience. Sally was wonderful. She took her time, listened to all of my concerns, and was so friendly throughout the appointment. She did a great job with my cleaning and shared helpful tips. The rest of the staff were also very kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been going to Midtown Dental Care Associates for around 1 year and have had the best experience every single time. I visited Midtown Dental Care for the first time my co-worker recommended it because she has been going there for many years. I went scared like many people are scared of the dentist. To be honest I find this a little pricey specially if your insurance doesn’t cover much, but you feel like they are taking good care of you and they make you feel comfortable.
The first person I saw was my hygienist Sally she is great she really takes her time to ask you questions and answer any you might have, she also makes you feel at ease, she is very gentle when she is doing the cleaning so you suffer the least pain and discomfort possible… She seems to be great with people it comes normal to her.
If you looking for a hygienist ask for Sally.

I’ve known Dr. Stanescu over 10 years. I will never change dentist. He is honest and very straight forward. My crowns looks like my natural teeth. I couldn’t ask for better. The staff is friendly and the office is spotless with top of the line equipment. By far the best dentist in New York City.

i visiting NY heading a long business trip and unfortunately a veneer popped off. options were fly home
and cancel or find help. Dr Rastegars office was open and he masterfully fixed up with a temp. luck to find a Dr who takes great pride in his work even if it’s a visitor!
