Truely a 5-star service. First question Joe asked me was whether I have much experience with properties at which point I confirmed 'little to none'. From that point on Joe was super patient, informative and helpful throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to ensure we understood the survey process, he called us to provide a detailed report on the day and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend Mickleson to anyone that wants a RICS approved survey completed.

Cannot recommend Joe enough! He was speedy with his corrospendence and able to arrange a visit to the property in a timely manner. He was very thorough and gave all the information in an easy to read format including prioritisation, photos and an action plan. He also made contact immediately after the property viewing to give us an idea of his findings. His rate is very reasonable and he is not trying to sell adjuncts that aren’t necessary (he even advised a drone footage would not be needed due to the visibility from the street). Joe was knowledgeable, polite and professional with every interaction and I will recommend him to anyone in need of a survey.

Recommended to me by a friend, emailed the company and got a same day response, very patient with me till my mortgage got approved, after approval Joe set a time and date with the estate agent and kept me informed, after the visit Joe gave me a summary over the phone which was very helpful to manage my expectations and plan my next steps. Also great price in comparison to what other surveyors are asking for. Great service!

Joe is a true professional; responsive, thorough, reliable and trustworthy. We had water ingress which we suspected was coming from our roof, and after a number of extortionate quotes and different conclusions from various roofers of what it could be, I decided to explore a roof survey and fortunately found Mickleson Chartered Surveyors. Every interaction from start to finish was professional, and Joe really went above and beyond to help us identify the issue. He answered my initial enquiry promptly, the survey was detailed with photos, he called me within 24 hours of carrying out the survey and then answered further questions. Joe has been very professional throughout start to finish for a Level 3 RICS Survey. From quotation, to organising the appointment directly with the vendor. Following the survey, he followed up within 24 hours with a phone call explaining the high level items that may be of interest and provided the report shortly after which is clear and succinct. He even offered his support in validating any quotations for any rectification / remedy work required based on the report. Would 100% recommend Joe / Mickleson's to anyone who's looking for a excellent, reliable surveyor.

Joe carried out a Level 2 survey on a property that I was looking to purchase. He was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and as he had an opening, I was booked in the following day. After he completed the survey, Joe called to explain his findings with some suggestions. The report was emailed a few days later detailing all that Joe noticed during his survey. What a fab experience we have had using Joe to do our level 2 survey in Bramhall. Quick at responding to emails, could fit within a week or so for an inspection. Phoned me on the day of survey to discuss any major findings and sent a detailed report within 3 days. Survey was super easy to understand with clear points and with action plans for us to follow in the next few years or so. If we ever needed a survey again in the future we would 100% use Joe. I had a great experience with Joe at Mickelson for a Level 2 survey on a flat. They were able to arrange and conduct a survey really quickly (which really helps when you're keen to get things moving with purchasing a property). I advised that I was waiting for my mortgage offer before booking, they got in touch with estate agents and were then able to book the survey as soon as I confirmed they could go ahead following the offer. Survey happened on a Tuesday morning, Joe called me later in the day and reported back key findings with clarity, in laymans terms. He also answered any questions and queries I had and was able to provide in-depth feedback on some key areas of concerns. He also advised on best next steps and actions needed. I then received the comprehensive report in full on the Friday. Really happy with their service and would highly recommend to anyone. I got quotes from a range of places and Mickleson's had the best price and a really excellent, clear service.

For the price I could not imagine the level of quality and professionalism I received from Joe Millson, both in the detail and extent of the reporting, as well as going the extra mile to detail advice and contact other professionals to give their opinion on work needing to be done. Joe suspected asbestos on surfaces and went the extra mile to outline why, the nature of it, and corroborate with a specialist surveyor to judge the likelihood and plan a test regarding such. I couldn’t have imagined this level of detail and couldn’t thank Joe enough for his help and advice regarding the build and the work to be done.
