I found Michigan Center for TMJ and Sleep Wellness through a google search. After suffering with headaches and neck pain, along with gum recession for years, I was looking for help and a solution. Over the last 15+ years, I had tried PT, massage, acupuncture, muscle relaxers (and more). Nothing gave me a long term relief.
I watched the educational videos online and related to so many of the points Dr Haddad and patients brought up.
I booked my appointment for consultation and couldn't believe what Nikki and Dr Haddad showed me. He was reassuring that he could help me. He also suggested a sleep apnea evaluation.
The process was long, time intensive and expensive. But, he was right at every step of the way. I did have sleep apnea. I do have a bite misalignment and the bite orthotic helped my pain that I suffered with for so long. Nikki, Kate and Dr Haddad were kind, compassionate and patient despite my dental anxiety.
I am so thankful that I found them and will likely switch all of my dental care to his team. If you have are unsure if you should call, please do the evaluation to meet the team. It is a worthwhile investment.

Dr Haddad is amazing! I’ve been battling severe TMJ for almost a decade. My jaw locked every time I ate and I’d wake up with it locked every morning. Chronic neck and shoulder pain, frequent headaches. I’ve tried everything to manage it: chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, meds, night guard. Nothing helped. Within one week of wearing my orthotic from Dr Haddad, my chiropractor and massage therapist said it feels like they’re working on a completely different body. My jaw hasn’t locked with eating since I got it and my neck and shoulder pain has significantly reduced. I’m so thankful to of found Dr Haddad! It’s worth the investment!

I’ve used my new appliance for one month, it is more comfortable and works better than my last mouth guard. Snoring has deceased to almost nothing and best of all, I can sleep on my back again. I haven't slept on my back for years without waking up. Material is softer also which makes it comfortable.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Came here 1yr ago for sleep apnea, spent $3000 for a mouth piece, I still don’t feel any relief, called at the end of last year and asked to come in to go over my mouth piece and assess where I was, and the receptionist brought up that I had $200 balance, that I wasn’t aware of. That’s all she really cared about! Never cared that this expensive mouth piece was not working!!! She just wanted to know when I was going to pay my balance, smh! Stay far away from these ppl! They our making money from ppls desperation for relief of sleep apnea, but not providing relief, just and overpriced mouth piece! They could give less than a Damn if you find relief or if that mouth piece works!

I didn't know this system was an option. I used CPAP for 20 years before I discovered this existed. No more hose limitations, need for power or extra space needed to travel. I feel just as good during the day as I did when I used the CPAP and I can roll around freely at night without pulling the machine to the floor! I recommend this to anyone looking to get away from CPAP

I have severe sleep apnea and tried to work with a CPAP machine for years. I struggled with the appliance and was getting no relief. My ENT suggested Dr. Haddad and I’ve never looked back! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and struggled to tolerate a CPAP, so I decided to try the Michigan Center for TMJ and Sleep Wellness. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started using the sleep appliance, but the results have been amazing.
After wearing it consistently for a week, my sleep has noticeably improved. My Oura Ring has recorded “optimal” sleep every night, with no breathing disturbances and oxygen levels around 98%. Before using the appliance, I typically fell into the “fair” range, with frequent disturbances and oxygen levels between 94–96%.
What surprised me most was how easily I adjusted to wearing the appliance—I thought it would take time to get used to, but I’ve had no issues at all. It’s comfortable, simple to use, and has made a real difference in my sleep quality.
I’m so glad I decided to try it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone dealing with sleep apnea and wants another option besides a c-pap.
