We had a wonderful stay here for my friend’s hen (9 of us) - was incredibly spacious and had all the amenities described. On top of this it was very clean, and just catered very well for the type of weekend we wanted.The hosts Rach & Ruth were incredibly responsive, very accommodating and even gave local recommendations!The only thing I’d improve is the heating system didn’t seem to be great at heating the house, despite us boosting it a few times. Wasn’t a big issue for us as we were only staying 48 hours but just something to keep in mind.Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hosts who were very responsive. We hadn’t appreciated how close it was to the main road though and with lots of young children we had to be very careful when getting in and out of the car. Parking is also a bit of a challenge with fairly big / long cars. It does cater for 4 cars but you have to play a bit of jenga to get them in and out in order needed, couple with being on a main road does make it a bit hard. This wouldn’t stop me recommending though just something to be mindful of. It was very clean and all the essentials provided, plus a lovely hamper with bread, juice, eggs, butter, milk, biscuits etc.
We had a wonderful family stay at Mews Cottage near Bath. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotless, and full of charm, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The layout worked perfectly for our family, giving us both space and coziness.
The location is excellent - with a peaceful rear cottage garden, yet close to local shops and a great base for exploring the area. Communication throughout was smooth and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
We would happily return and highly recommend Mews Cottage to anyone looking for a welcoming and relaxing stay.

There was a group of 13 of us that stayed here and we couldn’t be happier with the place!! The house was perfect and very clean. We loved the big dining table and the lovely snug area. The location was absolutely perfect, the villages around were lovely with some lovely shops and pubs! Bath was only a short train journey away which was also beautiful! A huge thank you. We will hopefully be visiting again in the future 😊

It had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home.The hosts were brilliant from start to finish. Super warm,cosy,comfortable and clean cottage.Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and bedding is lovely and soft . Plenty of communal areas for large groups and socialising. Fully stocked kitchen and lovely hamper provided . 10/10 recommend !

We had the perfect stay for my friends hen do. The house is so beautiful and spacious with lots of room for socialising. The garden is really lovely and the rooms are all a good size. Rach was the perfect host and helped with any queries from check in to local recommendations. We travelled into Bath which is about a 25 min taxi ride so the location is also ideal. I’d highly recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

11 of us stayed here for a long weekend and had a great experience. We had a fantastic stay at this lovely holiday cottage near Bath for our hen weekend! The cottage was beautiful, with plenty of space and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was in a great location—close to Bath but still peaceful and private. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We all loved our time there and would definitely come back!
