Blown away by the professionalism, service and craftsmanship of Dan and his team. We flew in from Sydney for one day, and Dan was able to resize two rings for us with a same day service. He was so knowledgeable and open to answering questions, and generous and patient with his answers and time. Thank you so much!

I had a relatively small job - a repair and a ring re-size, but the team were just as interested to help as if I had a large commission, really lovely service. The work was excellent and completed in good time, and they followed up to make sure I was happy with my jewellery. I will definitely be back. Edit: I did go back, to sell some scrap gold, and my experience was the same - Emma was great to deal with - very generous with information and communication, and it was fun to go through the bits and pieces of scrap with Emma and Chris. Finally I admire their ethos of recycling, conservation and local action. Highly recommend

Top-notch service and integrity! I brought in my vintage glasses that hold tremendous sentimental value, and unfortunately, was broken. They fixed them within a day and even charged me less than the quoted price, saying the repair took less time than expected. Wow, that has never happened before! I’ll always come back here for any jewellery or metalwork service. Also, a big thank you to Emma, the receptionist, who made me feel so welcome with her friendliness.

My son and his partner got their custom design engagement ring made at Metal Urges. They had a design, and Metal Urges made it real. They were really helpful, and suggested different build options so it looked the way they wanted. Ring looks great, son and partner very happy. Oh and also they re-sized my wedding ring. Nice work and everyone lovely to deal with.

Just wanted to say how much I love my new ring..it’s exactly what I wanted! I’m so impressed with the whole experience from the initial consultation through to fast tracking my ring so that I could pick it up when I was in Hobart. I have used Metal Urges previously to remake my engagement ring and wanted to keep the integrity of the design, which they did perfectly. On the passing of my dear Mum, I inherited some of her jewellery, most of which had broken clasps or were too small to wear and were left in her jewellery box. Dan was very patient as I went through Mum's jewellery with him. He was in contact with me as to the progress of the repairs and the estimated collection date and cost. The outcome is jewellery that I can wear every day and keep Mum close. The people at Metal Urges care. Not only about the jewellery they work with, but the clients too, and their wants, needs and wishes.
