I am so thankful for Melrose training. Mel and Cherise have been amazing - so welcoming, flexible, encouraging and helpful. I wanted to continue working out during pregnancy but was feeling nervous about training on my own or at larger group classes like F45 that I was previously doing.
It is so nice to have both in-person and virtual options to fit my schedule, and Cherise made me feel both comfortable and motivated to continue booking more sessions no matter how I was feeling during pregnancy because she would tailer the sessions accordingly (sometimes she will guide me through stretching or mobility if that is all I felt up to).
Attended about four events that Mel hosted and always had a great time! She’s warm and organized. I’m loving all her sets which encourages you to always move at your own phase - all with intention. Cherry on top are the sponsors in all the goodie bags she provides. Keep it up! Looking forward to more events with you!
I have attended 3 of Mel’s workout events and can’t wait to go to more in future. They’re always well organized, inclusive, and great value! The other attendees are super friendly and I always feel recharged afterwards 😊
I recently joined an in person event by Melrose Training and Good Life Dietician and it was excellent! They added special touches such as little gifts , coffee chats and more! The full body workout was also excellent! I would do this or any future events again without a doubt!
I just started with Melrose Training two weeks ago but I’m already noticing differences in my mood, confidence, energy, and stress levels. I look forward to my sessions every week and can’t wait to see what other changes I see in the coming months! I love that you can reach out with any questions you have and that they allow you to reschedule a session within 24h (in case something comes up, like illness) and pausing sessions (for things holiday travel). I definitely appreciate the flexibility!

Not only that they provide achievable workout plans that help you no matter your fitness goals. Mel does these amazing sessions at Chef’s Hall that can’t be missed.
I've always struggled with motivation to regularly exercise and the confidence to do any strength training. Training with MELROSE solve both of those for me as they make strength training super accessible and fun. I can honestly say I always look forward to my regular sessions with Mayra at the gym or virtually from home.
I appreciate their focus on women's health and wellness since this field is typically geared towards men. The events they host on the weekend are exemplary since they are great for connecting with women in the city over a meal/drink, or getting a workout in with a friend. At the last event Mel mentioned she was making arrangements to host an informational event around PCOS so I'm looking forward to that.

I've had the best experience with Melrose. Cherise has been a fantastic trainer— she's made everything approachable and extremely comfortable for me as a beginner. She's incredibly knowledgeable and has kept me challenged at a very comfortable pace, always checking in to see where I can push to do just a little bit more. I have nothing but great things to say about working with her! Same goes for the Melrose program as a whole, everything has been buttoned up and super thorough and professional from the start, which is a refreshing change from other training programs and gyms— this team has built something really great.
I had the pleasure of working with Lauren Mantha, the newest personal trainer of Melrose Training. She guided me through a full body workout with dumbbells. Lauren was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about form. She demonstrated each movement as well as modelled them before giving it a go. The workout she provided left me feeling great and even helped me with stretching. I would absolutely train with Lauren/Melrose training again. I love their philosophy and the trainers are amazing.

I highly recommend trying Melrose Training! The founder, Mel, is absolutely lovely & creates a fun & friendly environment during workout sessions for all fitness levels at which I have made a lot of great friends :) I have completed a number of different themed events with Mel & Active Girls TO at different venues such as the Kimpton St. George & Impact Kitchen composed of strength training, cardio, low-impact exercises with a focus on Pilates. I can personally see positive results such as an improvement in my endurance levels & toning/firming. The sponsors for these workout events are amazing as well some of which include Poppi, Kits, Nudestix, etc. I love the playlists Mel puts together for each workout which are upbeat tunes & she posts the list right after. This is definitely a part of my fitness routine along with long walks & hikes in the summertime. I’m looking forward to workouts with Melrose Training & attending more of these sessions in the future!

I’ve been training with Mayra at MELROSE for a few months now and it has been nothing short of amazing! With lots of changes around me I was looking for some help getting back into a consistent workout routine. Working with Mayra and the MELROSE team has not only helped me find my love for the gym again, but also helped me regain my confidence. My sessions have truly become one of the highlights of my week that I’m always looking forward to.
