A great find and love the fact that treatment was focused around what I wanted to achieve. Feet are so important and when a grumpy Achilles was causing pain, Mia has given me a great plan and I love how she keeps me chatting through therapy. The faculty is a standout with a full gym class n the front which is great for functional movement. Podiatry is more than getting you ingrown’s and corns removed. The treatment plan, follow ups and app with videos for exercises was also a great service

I’d like to thank Melbourne Podiatry in particular Lachie Ash-Smith for his awesome level of treatment. I went to Lachie with extreme pain in the calf after long investigation with inclusive tests a MRI concluded a grade 2 medial tib stress syndrome in the middle of my Melbourne Marathon training block. The road felt hopeless but after strengthening work, gait assessments and custom made orthotics I was able to slowly increase my mileage to reach a 74km peak week with an original goal of 100km. This weekend I debuted in my first marathon and managed to run 3:18:28 with many training interruptions. The sky is the limit. Thanks Lachie.

Plantar fasciitis recovery: April So far so good after 2 sessions… I’m not out of the woods on my plantar fasciitis but on a path to recovery through some really sound advice and a good program. Update September: After 3 months I’m pretty much fully recovered … it’s a slow healing process but one helped by Matilda at the clinic. Orthopaedic support helped as well Learnings: The thing that I’ve learnt with injuries like this is you have to do the work to avoid re-injury. Also critical is good shoes with arch support as you get older.
