Appreciated the thoughtful touches and advice for making my Portugal journey very happy & enjoyable. Highly recommend !
We walked by the Meira Center while doing a hike and asked about windsurfing which we saw on the lagoon.
Ended up doing a lesson the next day and it was a great experience. Our instructor explained things very well and had us actually windsurfing across the lagoon by the end of the day.

We had such a great time on our kayak tour with Meira Pro Center in Sesimbra — honestly, one of those experiences that just stays with you.
Afonso was an absolute pleasure to have as our guide. From the start, he made us feel completely at ease with his warm and easygoing nature. He’s patient, friendly, and never rushed us, which made the whole trip feel very relaxed and enjoyable.
We set off from the small harbour and paddled along the coastline towards the “secret hideout” at Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo. The scenery along the way was stunning — hidden caves, rugged cliffs, and crystal-clear water. Exploring those little spots with Afonso story telling you’d never find on your own made it feel really special.
What we appreciated most was how natural everything felt — no pressure, no rush, just a genuinely enjoyable time out on the water with a guide who clearly loves what he does.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Sesimbra. It’s a simple, beautiful experience done right.
One of the highlights of our recent trip to Portugal was this kayak tour of the Arrabida National Park. We spent several hours kayaking with a group of 7 and our guide, Afonso, taking in the breathtaking sights and picnicking on a secluded beach. What really enhanced this experience was Afonso! He really made an effort to get to know everyone in the group and made each one of us feel special. It's obvious he enjoys his work and meeting new people and that elevated the trip for all of the participants!
My bike tour was fantastic . My tour guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable about the history of the land marks and the whole area in general, just a great guy. We biked through the countryside and the state park and stopped on the way for coffee and taking pictures. It was by far the best outdoor experience I have had so far in Sesimbra. Highly recommend everyone to try this tour company . Their electric bikes are new and on the inclines you press the turbo bottom and the electric power makes peddling a breeze . It was great weather with great out activity and beautiful scenery
Had an absolutely incredible kayaking tour with Afonso! My friend and I hadn’t kayaked in awhile and it took us awhile to get the hang of it, but he was so helpful in coaching us through the trip. He also gave great recommendations for things to do and eat in Lisbon!
The beach was absolutely beautiful and we could not have had a better experience! An absolute must-do when visiting Lisbon!
I booked through Airbnb which was easy and helpful. I was driven to the location by Roggi (my spelling may be wrong) he got us there safely also offering fun facts along the way which was a pleasant experience for so early in the morning. Afonso was our kayak guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, very grateful we got him as a guide as he gave us the best service, fun facts, great conversation, and wonderful experiences while also making sure it was documented for us to look back on. Gabriel took us back to drop off zone, he got us there safely and very appreciative of that and everyone who made my Portugal experience worthwhile!!!
The kayak tour was wonderful way to explore this area! Small tour groups that made it that much better. Alfonso was the BEST- friendly, kind, professional, and provided the best recs. We saw multiple other kayak groups and really could tell the difference- a local who loved to travel and welcomed people from all over. Thank you Alfonso!
