I had a wonderful experience with MedinAction. As a foreigner living in Italy it isn't always easy to find fast and efficient healthcare, but through the help of the employees at MedinAction, I was quickly connected with the correct resources in order to meet my medical needs. I am very grateful for their assistance and will be sure to recommend them to any friends and family visiting Italy.
Andrea Guerriero is an absolutely fantastic doctor whose line of care is incredibly
efficient, kind, sympathetic and resourceful. He listened to his patients and actively works with them. Andrea helped me navigate Salvator Mundi Hospital between Italian and English, and checked in on me as I got better. He even knew about my international insurance coverage’s relationship to AXA assistance, something I never knew existed. He is invaluable to international and national patients. He put me in contact with other care doctors after my treatment at Salvator Mundi and he followed up with me at every step. I am grateful for his expert advice, care, warmth, and efficiency.

Phillippo was excellent in his approach to my wife’s condition. we were on holiday in Florence and my wife had to have hip surgery. I found Phillippo and he visited the hotel 3 times to help my wife in her recovery. Excellent service

Dr. Guerriero is an extremely personable, efficient, kind doctor who makes you feel comfortable and safe with any issue you may have. I had a horrible in my stomach one day, and Dr. Guerriero helped me find the issue, fix it, and get me back on my feet within a week. The pain ended up being an appendicitis for which I needed an emergency surgery. That surgery would normally feel scary and difficult to manage, especially as a foreigner in Italy. Dr. Guerriero took all those fears away and made the whole process feel like a piece of cake. I highly recommend him to anyone in need.

My interaction with MedinAction was limited to a WhatsApp conversation with a representative (Claudia) while seeking a referral to a specialist in the Naples area. The team was polite and responsive, but I was disappointed to learn that the service is limited to English-speaking GP appointments only, with no direct pathway to in-person English-supported specialist care. Although their website mentions referrals for diagnostic testing or specialists, I was told patients would largely be left to arrange these follow-ups independently—something that could be challenging for non-Italian speakers, especially in more serious cases.
To their credit, MedinAction’s CMO (Andrea) later reached out for additional feedback, which I appreciated. My review reflects only this customer service interaction and not any medical visit or treatment. The service may work well for those needing standard GP care or a quick consultation, but travelers or expats with more complex medical needs may find it less comprehensive than the “medical concierge” label suggests.
A clearer FAQ section outlining the exact scope of services, referral process, and what to expect after a GP visit would go a long way in setting appropriate expectations.

• House call visits are available in the cities clearly listed on our website, including Naples, where English-speaking GPs can provide home visits.
• Online consultations with GPs and specialists are available nationwide across Italy.
• Our Trusted Clinic Network for diagnostic testing and specialist referrals is available primarily in the larger cities (Rome, Milan, Florence, Naples), but not in smaller towns or rural areas.
In your case, no medical service was actually booked or paid for—you only had an informational exchange with one of our Operations Managers, who correctly explained the scope of our service in Naples.
We are always very much appreciated by our patients for the support and help we provide, and it is disappointing to receive a one-star review without our service being tried. We know that we deliver professional, caring, and consistent medical assistance, always with passion and dedication. The many 5-star reviews we have received over the years are the clearest testimony of this.
We regret that your expectations were different, but we are confident that our website transparently communicates what we offer and where. Still, we appreciate your suggestions, as they help us continue improving.
