Had a great experience with Mechalex. Alex quickly diagnosed the central locking issue on our Skoda Kodiaq, ordered the replacement part, and called us as soon as it arrived. He fitted it promptly and solved the problem with no fuss. Really pleased with the service – professional, efficient, and friendly. Would definitely use Alex again and highly recommend him to others.

Wanted a vw/audi Specialist in Berkshire to look after my RS3 . Lucked upon Mechalex and sent it to him service the engine and gearbox . Saved a fortune on main dealer prices and all parts and oils are OEM . On speaking to Alex it was clear he knows exactly what he’s talking about .. I’ve been back and had further work and received the same quality service . They will be looking after my pride and joy from now on . Highly recommended and full 5 stars from me .

Excellent service. Alex is always trustworthy and honest and will never rip you off. I’ve used Alex a few times now after being recommended and I can honestly say I won’t go anywhere else from now on.
As a female who doesn’t know anything about cars I’ve been ripped off plenty in the past and have found it difficult to trust mechanics/garages but Alex will never do that. Thank you for fixing my car issue today.

My Touareg had an engine warning and went into limp mode. Alex booked the vehicle in at short notice and diagnosed a faulty sensor immediately. Also got the car serviced at the same time. Great value and great service. Recommended.

Dropped my Yeti off first thing. Alex diagnosed my random warning lights electrical problem. By lunchtime, he had it fixed along with replacing the very aged rear brakes that I’d asked him to do after he’d spotted they’d need replacing soon at the previous service. Alex is a top VAG guru and honest bloke. Recommended.

Alex carried out replacement of my Front differential on my RS3 and helped me do battle with the warranty company. Done a brilliant job but the warranty company said it was wear and tear. Alex was the only one who would take on the job sourced a good second hand unit and fitted it. I was back again 3 months later when the rear axle failed as well as a leaky water pump. He completed the job again using a good salvaged part I found . Everything worked a treat. I would only just this garage with my pride and joy as they seem to be the only ones that know what they are doing . Thanks Lee

When a mechanic I trust recommends another mechanic, I knew I was in safe hands. Alex knows his stuff, this is not a back street garage, this is a high quality workshop with quality workmanship. My T5, which I am very fond of, was repaired perfectly. Alex checked my van over and let me know about wear and tear items that would need attention in the near future. No pressure at all to get any of the work done now. Genuine, honest and I will happily take my T5 back in the future when more mechanical work is needed.
