Great experience! My daughter got her ear’s pierced by Verin who handled everything perfectly. My daughter is 9 and was nervous but Verin did a great job leading her through it. I loved that she talked to her and not me. She treated her as the customer rather than talking to me about her. It really empowered her to be brave. It was perfect.

Great place to get a tattoo. Cool vibe, nice people and very talented artists. I went in for a cover up and one of the artists Angelique, that’s one of her specialties. She was fantastic , a super talented artist and very interesting to talk with. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend MD Tattoo!
This is now my third tattoo from MD Studio, again could not be more satisfied! Flora designed my realistic tattoo by my request to the exceptional detail of an anatomical heart and executed her work flawlessly. This tattoo completed the existing EKG reading on my inner arm (work done by Ani). I would highly recommend Flora to those desiring extreme realistic detail in tattoo work.

I had an outstanding experience with Flora Zuckerman, and after working with her on multiple pieces, my appreciation for her artistry has only grown. From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable and completely at ease. Her manner is warm, attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She listens carefully, answers questions thoroughly, and never makes the process feel rushed.
What truly sets Flora apart is her exceptional artistic eye and her understanding of **how a tattoo should interact with the anatomy underneath it**. She doesn't simply place artwork on the body—she considers proportion, symmetry, muscular contours, movement, negative space, and how individual pieces will relate to one another as part of a larger composition.
That became particularly apparent with my most recent bilateral deltoid tattoos. The placement and scale are outstanding. Each piece follows the natural contour of the shoulder and accentuates the deltoid rather than competing with it. They also complement the larger work she previously created on my back while preserving enough negative space for every tattoo to remain visually distinct. The result feels intentional from every viewing angle.
Her precision is equally impressive. From the large aircraft piece across my upper back to the smaller graphic elements, the execution has been consistently clean, balanced, and technically meticulous. Seeing the completed collection together has made me appreciate even more how carefully she planned each individual placement.
The studio is clean, professional, and welcoming, and Flora's confidence and craftsmanship inspire complete trust. Most importantly, she has taken ideas that were personally meaningful to me and translated them into artwork that feels completely integrated with my body.
I couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend Flora without hesitation to anyone looking for an artist with genuine technical skill, anatomical awareness, artistic judgment, and compassion.

i got my first dermal piercing and it went super well! the piercer let me ask questions and took time to allow me to find the perfect placement. although it was pricey for one dermal, i’d say it was worth it. definitely will be coming back for more piercings and tattoos!

I came to MD Tattoo looking to cover up a large, unwanted arm tattoo and was fortunate enough to get connected with Pedro. From my very first email, the response was immediate, friendly, and helpful.
The shop itself is top-notch—clean, active, and welcoming. You can tell everyone there, artists and clients alike, genuinely enjoys being in the shop. During our consultation, Pedro shared some incredible ideas, and I was able to book my first full-day session for that following Saturday.
I’m doing a three-session piece and just wrapped up round one. The experience was fantastic. Pedro is super easy to talk to and extraordinarily talented. MD Tattoos and Ani are absolutely incredible. The studio is stunning and everyone is so nice. I have been looking for a fine line artist and haven’t been confident enough to book with anyone until I found Ani. I live in marina del Rey and will happily drive to Thousand Oaks just for her.
