Money makes the world go round
I had a really frustrating experience with a shop that prioritized profit over actual diagnostics. I brought in my '01 24v Cummins because it was hitting limp mode, losing pedal response, and smoking—plus it had a visible fuel leak. Instead of addressing the leak or the electrical grounds, the shop 'parts-cannoned' my truck.They sold me on a compression test (unnecessary for a 180k-mile engine) and a $1,800 injector replacement that didn't fix the issue. When the truck still had low power and smoke, they tried to sell me a $2,000 turbo. After a month in the shop and $3,000 spent, I finally took the truck back—still broken—and put it in my field.It turns out the real issues were a dying VP44 pump (damaged by air in the fuel lines), corroded ECM ground wires, and a turbo that had been stressed by high EGTs from the bad timing. If you know how to wrench, do it yourself or give the shop a very strict 'to-do' list, because this place just took my money without fixing the root cause.

Very courteous and knowledgeable. New brakes and rotors on one vehicle, and oil change on two. Very detailed inspection report was helpful and added a coolant flush. Coupons were what brought me in and good reviews. Applied all applicable coupon discounts too. Final cost was reasonable and appropriate. I'll use them again when the time comes.

Had to replace the motor inside the door panel for the window
They dropped me off at home and picked me up
And when work interfered with parts delivery and my schedule they gave me a loaner for no charge

MDP Diesel is excellent. Enough said. They do things right here. They are professional, prompt and always communicate. I was sent a thorough review of my vehicle, video included!
A few weeks later, my wife heard a noise coming from the front wheels. We dropped it off thinking it may have been a product of the recent maintenance. They took time out of their schedule to look over the vehicle, make sure things were good. The noise was unrelated, and after some minor lubrication, the noise was gone. They didn’t charge me a thing. They sent me home with a complimentary bag of cookies.
Take notes other auto repair shops, these guys have it figured out!

Great service at a fair price. Flushed and filled my Transmission with synthetic fluid. In addition, replaced my back breaks.
