I called George to evaluate a woodworm problem on a property we had bought. I liked the fact that he came when he said he would, explained everything that would happen, and gave us an approximate date for the work and how long it would take. The job was done within two hours, and he left everything as he found it. I got a ten-year guarantee, too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend McKnight Building Preservation. George was great. We had a small damp area due to a blocked downpipe and he came quickly to assess and quote. He opened up the wall to clear out plaster debris, and reinstated with new plasterboard and a plaster skim. He went under the whole house to check everything else and rake away loose debris from the timbers. All for a very reasonable fee - would highly recommend.

Great service and a very competitive price. George who was easy to deal with provided the quote and completed the work himself within a couple of days. The work area was well protected during spraying and everything left neat and tidy. Really happy!

George came out to inspect woodworm found on recent repair work in my flat. He was quick to respond by phone and email, he inspected the following day and undertook the treatment there and then, he was also very reassuring- I was panicking the flat had an infestation! Superb service and great price- I would recommend him to anyone!

It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know George McKnight. He was very thorough and helpful checking our home for damp and woodworm. He arranged a return visit to thoroughly treat some woodworm that was found. His expertise was far more useful and practical than the vague contents in the original home report for the property. Highly recommended!
