My mom paid for your services with the expectation that you would help improve her situation. Unfortunately, she ended up in a worse position than when she started.
The only outcome you achieved was reinstating her eligibility for traffic school, which was an option she already had from the beginning. As a result, she ended up paying court fees, the original ticket fine, traffic school fees, and your legal fees.
She hired you because she believed your representation would make a positive difference. Instead, she incurred additional expenses with no meaningful benefit. Ironically, my friend also hired you and had an unsuccessful outcome.
I personally wouldn’t recommend this law firm.
I'm not sure who your mom is and/or exactly what her expectation was. When people hire us we are upfront about the reality of their situation. Nobody provides evidence to prove they're innocent so we must go to court and put the burden on the state to prove the charge beyond a doubt. In the event that the court is able to do so and the court wont dismiss the case, then the attorney tries to find the best possible outcome that can still avoid the point. Sometimes that means falling back on the traffic school option. Used a third party app called off the record for a red light camera ticket paid $560 for them to appear a month before court and nobody showed and I was found guilty. Very unprofessional and I requested a refund still waiting.
Hi Kendal. As discussed - this error occurred since you hired thru a third party and the court did not process the continuance request we filed for the date you set before hiring us. We were under the impression you were still allowing us to still work on this and issued your refund as soon as you made us aware you wanted one.
