We booked a charter with Maverick on the Outrageous. Capt. Daniel and deckhand Tonda were great! We got our limit on halibut and rock fish. We had also discussed fishing for salmon and Capt. Daniel was up front about that they hadn’t had good luck with them recently. I very much appreciated him not wasting our time and keeping us on fish. I would definitely go through Maverick again. Both Daniel and Tonda were very personably and fun to spend the day with… I’ve been on other charters with salty dogs and that’s not a good time. Highly recommend Daniel and Tonda

Captain Faith is a fish whisperer! Our family of five fished with Captain Faith and scored a limit of Halibut and some bonus cod. She was absolutely awesome and we highly recommend her and Maverick Charters! We are an experienced family having fished coastal Atlantic waters off of NC, SC, and FL. Our crew found fishing the Pacific bay off of Homer a bit more challenging and Faith had us all covered - we landed lots of fish while she inserted some laughs and great music. We all had a blast and want to return again!

Halibut fishing trip We went halibut fishing out of Homer. The captain and both mates were excellent! The boat was an excellent fishing vessel. All nine fishermen caught their limit of nice halibut!!! I will go again! Great time.

Best crew in Homer. Captain puts you on the fish consistently, takes every safety precaution and knows the area very well as a local. Boat is well equipped with all amenities and clean restrooms. Crew handles fish well. All around 5 stars. Thanks guys!

Great Charter Company This was our 5th time fishing in Homer in four trips. It's been 8 years since we have been there. This was the first time on a small boat (holds up to six.....five total on our boat this trip). Daniel was captain and Tonda was deckhand. Great all around. Fun people, made it easy and enjoyable. Easily got our two halibut each and was lucky to also get five total cod as well. Caught some other weird stuff too that you don't keep (skate, sculpin, some other cool junk fish you don't eat). Definitely like the smaller boats compared to the big boats. Busy season had not quite kicked in, that was also nice. For the small population of Homer, the spit gets uncomfortably busy in peak season with parking being a PITA. We are going back in September and will do salmon/rockfish one day and halibut another. Hopefully the crowd then is subdued like it was in May. I know we used Rainbow before, so I'm not clear what the relationship is. I had a few questions and sent a message via their webpage and got a return call inside of 2 minutes.

Great day, great fishing! We had such a fun day on the Ultimate with Captain Eric and his amazing deckhands. It was a gorgeous day on the water and we all caught our limit pretty quick. Fun times with a fun crew, thank you Maverick Charters! Plus their logo is super hot.

Great day of fishing, more than met expectations! Captain Billy and his crew, Debbie and Lily, delivered on the half day charter. Everyone on board caught their halibut max and then some other cod and rockfish. Service was great, every need was met, highly recommend

​Incredible day on the water with Maverick Charters! Captain Faith and her deckhand were fantastic. Captain Faith played the tides perfectly and put us right on the rockfish and halibut. We had an awesome time and everyone left with the exact limits they wanted. Limit or not though, it would have been an incredible time. Highly recommend booking a trip with them!

We went out on a full-day halibut and salmon fishing trip with Bash and Delta, and they were fantastic. They worked hard all day to set us up for success and made sure everyone had a great experience. The weather was cold and rainy, which honestly felt like the perfect Alaskan fishing adventure. Whenever anyone got cold, the cabin provided nice warm reprieve before heading back out. Thanks to their knowledge, effort, and guidance, our group limited out on fish. If you're looking for a great day on the water, I highly recommend fishing with Maverick Charters.
