⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What can we say — absolutely exceptional from start to finish! From the moment Matt arrived, it felt like a friend walked into where I was having my wedding prep. His attentiveness from the moment contact was made a year ahead of the wedding, continued throughout our entire wedding day. There truly is something naturally special about him. Although Matt & Chris were there all day and right up until the evening, you never really noticed them. My husband likened them to Sherlock Holmes & Watson, through how well they worked together & complimented each other;s skill set. Our wedding photographs are simply breathtaking & stunning. Every time we look through them, we’re transported straight back to the most magical day of our lives. The emotion, the love, the laughter, the little details and those wonderful moments we didn’t even realise were being captured — they’re all there, and beautifully so. You are an incredibly talented photographer, with such a natural ability to capture not just a picture, but the feeling behind it. You and Chris made a fantastic team and fitted into our day so effortlessly. You made everyone feel completely at ease. Our friends & family can't speak highly enough about you, and the results speak for themselves. We received the photos much quicker than we had imagined & were absolutely floored when we viewed them. A couple of them bought tears to our eyes as the photographs captured so much emotion. And then, just when we thought the experience couldn’t have been any more special, a little surprise arrived in the post. Such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and one that genuinely touched us. ❤️ Thank you for capturing such beautiful memories of a day we never wanted to end. We genuinely couldn’t recommend you highly enough. Five stars simply aren’t enough! 📸✨ With love and enormous thanks from two extremely happy newlyweds. ❤️

5 stars. 10 out of 10. 100% brilliant. The best. Would definitely recommend. Don’t go to ANYONE else!! I could use this review to talk about Matt’s incredible eye for detail. Or his ability to see the shot that most others wouldn’t. How he makes you feel so comfortable and at ease on the most important (and possibly most stressful!) day of your life. How he naturally provides breaks during your wedding (for pictures) that allow it to just be you and your newly wedded partner, away from the crowd and the (semi) organised chaos, enjoying some of your big day just the two of you. I could use this review to explain how wonderful his end product is, how he captures the things that paint the picture of the day. How the photos tell the story. How incredible the albums look and feel, and how they bring your big day back to life, over and over again. But I won’t - because I’m going to instead focus on Matt himself. The kindest, most patient guy. My wife and I must be up there on Matt’s “most frustrating clients” list! For various reasons our wedding was delayed by a year, so all the early prep Matt did had to go on hold. Our big day came and went without a hitch - with Matt and his colleague Will capturing the whole day perfectly. After the wedding, for various other reasons, we could not promptly reply to Matt’s messages and requests when it came to arranging our wedding albums. It meant that 9 months would pass before we could finalise our album - this was entirely our fault. But Matt, legend that he is, stayed patient with us, never made us feel that we were being chased or under pressure, and stayed in contact with us throughout. Absolutely exceptional customer service to two customers who probably didn’t deserve such patience! I’ve only been married this one time and have therefore never had experience of another wedding photographer. And yet, I will confidently say, with absolutely no doubt in my mind, that you will not find a better photographer out there than Matt! Thanks for everything Matt - I guess, as a closing remark that will seem fairly typical of me, I’m sorry it’s taken so long to leave you this review!

Photo renovation. Having come into possession of 2 photos of our late sister as a young child. Unfortunately, they were in a very bad state, we approached Matt to see if there was anything that could be done. Matt said he would certainly try and hope that he could give us something of a reasonable quality. Little did we know that Matt was a magician. We are absolutely astounded at the quality of finish. We would not hesitate in recommending Matt. If you need to bring life back to photos you never thought was possible then Matt is your man. Matt is the top choice for a wedding photographer in Nottingham area, right from the start he got to know us and our story and that absolutely shone through in the photos he captured on the day. He listened to what we wanted and the photos show our love story and the joy and happiness of our family and friends on the day. Matt is like having a friend taking your photos, he puts you at ease on the day and fits in with the different groups at the reception to capture some great candid and relaxed shots that we all love. I can't praise Matt enough for the beautiful way he recorded our day, these are photos and memories that we and all our guests will treasure. Matt kept in touch all through the planning stages and after the ceremony, and it was lovely to get a sneak peak of a few photos a couple of days after, and when we received the link to all the photos it brought a tear to our eye with just how stunning they were. I genuinely cannot put into words how incredible our experience with Matt Selby was. From the very first meeting, we knew instantly that we wanted to book him — and everything Matt has done since has gone above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. I’ve never truly felt beautiful, but somehow Matt managed to capture photographs that showed pure happiness and the love I have for my husband — and the love in his eyes when he looks at me. Those moments are ones I will cherish for the rest of my life. Our photo album is absolutely stunning. Looking through it feels like reliving the entire day all over again. Matt didn’t just capture the big moments; he caught everything — the quiet tears from our front-row guests, the laughter we shared with family and friends, and even the tiny details we spent so long decorating the room with.
