Amazing stay, beautiful views and a very comfortable bed
☺ Very welcoming owners, the facilities were great with a ski storage room, lift, induction hob and many other amenities. The bathroom was clean and modern with storage for our own items. The bed was particularly comfortable and we had no disturbances from other residents. The balcony with the view of the Matterhorn was a particularly amazing feature. The apartment is a good 25 minute walk into the village, however the free bus was very helpful. It is also up a hill so coming back in the night may take a bit longer but it’s so worth it. We loved our stay here and would love to come back.

Très bel appartement moderne, très propre et confortable. Même si est situé un peu loin du centre, l’emplacement est pratique pour les skieurs. Arrivée possible ski au pieds si l’enneigement est bon. Accès au télécabines à deux arrêts du bus gratuit qui passe toutes les 10min aux heures de pointes.

☺ The studio room was spacious and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. There was a nice variety of cooking implements and our host suggested we shop at the Co-Op near the train station which had the best variety of foods.
It was short walk to the bus to go skiing but we did a 10 minute downhill walk to the lift where we had checked our skis and boots overnight.
We stayed as a couple on a ski trip, and Evelyn was absolutely wonderful with us from the very first moment.
On our arrival day, my flight was delayed by almost three hours and I ended up arriving in Zermatt very late at night. Despite this, she was constantly in touch, making sure we were okay and helping us with the correct train connections. The welcome was truly top-level.
The apartment itself is exceptional: fully renovated, modern, spacious (which is not easy to find in Zermatt), and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need, all new and of high quality.
The bathroom amenities are far beyond what you would normally expect, even compared to many hotels: soap, shampoo, cream, makeup remover, and every small detail thoughtfully provided.
The views are simply spectacular. Waking up and seeing the Matterhorn directly from the window — even from the bed — is something truly special.
The location is ideal: a very quiet area, yet only two bus stops from the main gondola to the ski area (Matterhorn Express). Both Evelyn and Emil are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on making your stay perfect.
There is honestly nothing negative to say. The beds are very comfortable, the apartment is bright, spacious, beautifully renovated, and extremely well maintained.
We had a fantastic stay, would absolutely come back, and highly recommend this apartment. A real gem in Zermatt.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. It was very comfortable and clean and perfect for the three of us. A great couch/bed and big screen tv to watch a movie after a day of skiing. The view of the Matterhorn is superb and the skibus is very close. In one minute you have a lovely walk into the woods and up to Furi. If there is enough snow you can even ski to the apartment. We will definitely return. Evelyn was a great and responsive host.

An amazing place to stay in Zermatt
☺ Haus Vira is wonderful! Emil and Evelyn are fantastic hosts - so kind, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They did everything to make our stay perfect, from recommending delicious restaurants to giving us excellent advice on transportation. My wife loves to ski and it was easy for her to get to many great slopes; I love to hike in the mountains and this apartment was so close to many excellent trails, even in the winter. The apartment itself is incredible, with gorgeous views of the Matterhorn and triple-paned windows that keep everything blissfully quiet and peaceful. This was even better than we could have imagined!
