I passed today first time!!! I picked Mark Jorden after reading fantastic reviews with instructors that had years of experience behind them and brilliant pass rates. Richard was my instructor and I cant say anything other than he was brilliant,(his head will swell reading that) I was instantly at ease and felt comfortable from the get go and could completely and unapologetically be myself. Never did I feel awkward when I made some questionable driving moves and Richard never once made me feel uncomfortable when I made them, never a raised voice or condescending tone just a smile and a talk through what went wrong and how can we make it better. Driving lessons dont need to be uncomfortable or make you anxious and Richard definitely made me realise that straight away. We had many a laughs whilst learning and at the time I would think "hes gone mad" when he mentioned a character from jungle book or the many other random weird things he would come out with while learning, they actually all served a purpose and made it and easy and a relatable method of teaching. Always being asked what I didn't feel comfortable with and what I would want to do again if my test was the next day put the ball in my court and made it a fun and comfortable journey to getting my licence. I recommend Mark Jorden Driving School and most definitely recommend Richard as an instructor and couldn't be happier with the end result, yes it takes time and perseverance but with the right instructor you will get there.

When finding an instructor you want someone is competent in teaching and full of knowledge about different scenarios. Making sure they are well qualified and able to carry out the task at hand. Mark Jordan offers all of that. My driving instructor Phil made this experience and learning curve incredible. Always keeping a positive atmosphere and making me feel heard when learning to drive. Phil was always flexible when I needed to change my lesson times for work and always did his best to cater to my needs. I could never recall a time I didn’t want to go to my lesson with Phil because of how enjoyable and immersive he made it. The way he went about teaching different techniques were easy to wrap your head around and intensely detailed the same time. Phil always cares for his students and wants all of his pupils to succeed. I truly believe mark Jordan is an amazing driving school and would definitely recommend to people if they wanted to start learning to drive, they provide plenty of of recourses and information on there website such as; the driving theory section, allowing pupils to practice there theory without paying for extra services. Mark Jordan Driving School gave me a genuinely enjoyable experience and helped me pass my test first time. I’ve really enjoyed learning to drive, and I’d recommend them to anyone, if you’re nervous about starting or just looking to learn in a calm, supportive environment. My instructor, Phil, was brilliant. He was friendly, patient, and always made me feel reassured. His way of explaining things was clear and easy to follow, which made learning so much less stressful. The teaching methods were practical and really helped me understand both the Highway Code and how to handle different situations on the road. The most important thing for me when choosing a driving school was finding an instructor who is patient, understanding, supportive, and genuinely willing to put in the time and effort to help me progress. When I found Mark Jordan Driving School, I knew straight away that they were the right choice for me. My instructor was Phil , who was absolutely amazing, enhancing my ability to drive every week by boosting my confidence and awareness on the road , without getting impatient or making me feel out of place. He always encouraged me to step out my comfort zone and made the lessons enjoyable with his sense of humour and different teaching methods, which ultimately lead me to pass first time. Phil not only cares about his pupils and wants them to succeed and pass first time, but also makes the lessons be a highlight of your week and something to look forward to. When I was choosing a driving school, the most important factor for me was finding somewhere that understood how nervous I was about learning to drive. I decided to learn in an automatic because I felt it would help reduce some of that anxiety and allow me to focus more on building confidence. Other things that mattered were reliability, a friendly atmosphere, and an instructor who would be patient and supportive. The strong reputation and genuine reviews for Mark Jordan Driving made me feel I’d be in safe hands. Learning to drive actually turned out to be a much more positive experience than I expected. I went in feeling very nervous, but quickly realised that with the right teaching, it didn’t need to feel overwhelming. Halfway through learning, I had to move back to university and take a six-month break from lessons — something I was worried might set me back — but as soon as I returned home, my lessons resumed smoothly and I picked things straight back up thanks to the structure and support already in place. My instructor was Andy, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. His teaching methods were calm, clear and encouraging. He always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense, never rushed through topics, and helped me build confidence one step at a time. He struck the perfect balance between being professional and friendly, making each lesson something I felt comfortable with rather than anxious about. I would absolutely recommend Mark Jordan Driving to anyone, especially nervous drivers. If I could pick 0 stars I would. My partner started learning to drive with mark jordan 8 weeks ago, across this 8 weeks 5 lessons have been cancelled! The his has delayed her progress and put her back to stage 1 and wasted her hard earned money. Within the 6 hours of lessons that she did complete she didn’t leave the estate going around in circles until 5 hours into learn in so we feel the instructor held her back to prolong the time it would take her to pass to keep taking money from her. Now we have had enough of lessons being cancelled every week so had to start fresh with a new instructor, this means all the money spent on the lessons with mark Jordan has been wasted! She is less than satisfied with the service provided. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MESSED AROUND

As we discussed over the phone, your partner’s lessons along with those of the instructor’s other students were cancelled due to personal circumstances that were unfortunately beyond the instructor’s control. We understand this was disappointing, but we do feel your review was not entirely fair, given the situation.

The instructor in question has an excellent record and consistently receives 5-star reviews from previous pupils. We believe this reputation was one of the reasons your partner chose to learn with us, and we’re genuinely sorry that unforeseen circumstances affected their experience.

Regarding the driving routes, your partner’s lessons were conducted in what we refer to as a “nursery route.” This is a standard approach for early-stage learners, as it allows pupils to safely build control and confidence in the car before progressing to more challenging environments. As you mentioned, this progression had already started by the fifth lesson, which is in line with the usual pace for most learners.

I chose Mark Jordan's Driving School after searching for instructors in the area and reading through several other good reviews. It was important to me to choose one at a good price, with down-to-earth people. I had tried learning to drive several years ago but struggled due to nerves. My instructor was Phil and I found him to be patient, kind and understanding of my anxiety; we found a way to work around it with humour and practise, resulting in my pass today. I would recommend the driving school to others and will be doing so in the future! Thank you for all your help :)

The experience was much better than I expected where I was living before where I am now I was taking lessons but was really struggling to pick up the skills needed but with Mark Jordan driving school I felt myself gaining confidence a lot quicker and learning the skills I needed easier. 4) Who was your instructor? Richard Wall 5) How did you find your instructors' teaching methods? Amazing. Richard was such a great teacher. He was very calm which was really good for me as I can get overwhelmed and nervous but he was able to stay calm which helped me when I made mistakes or was unsure about anything. 6) Would you recommend us to others and if so, WHY? Yes the effort the instructors put into making sure you are not only confident in your driving ability but also to feel safe when driving.

The experience of learning to drive can at first seem daunting, but having chosen to learn with Mark Jordan driving school, my instructor Phil made the process easy, enjoyable and undaunting. Phil is a very friendly, understanding and patient instructor, taking the learning of driving at your pace and is more than willing to spend multiple weeks going over stuff if you are struggling to get your head around it, or by teaching different methods to learn certain aspects of driving. Even after I failed my first test due to a silly error on my part, Phil kept me calm and encouraged me that my driving was at a good level, which helped me to prepare well and pass my test on my second attempt. Overall, the experience with Phil and Mark Jordan driving school has been excellent, and very good value for money. Excellent The most important thing for me when choosing a driving school was having an instructor who is patient, understanding, supportive and willing to put in the time and effort for me. I had found this school and with ease I knew I wanted to learn through them. My driving instructor was Phil, he is a brilliant driving instructor who had made the whole experience extremely positive and enjoyable. He has amazing patience, always gave clear advice and persistent encouragement, for someone being on the road for the first time this was amazing. He always made driving something to look forward to and there wasn’t a time that I did not want to go. I could not have asked for a better driving instructor to guide me through the rules of the road and to get used to the whole experience, he provided me with confidence behind the wheel and never made me doubt myself. He truly cares for his pupils. I highly recommend Mark Jordan Driving School for anybody who is interested it is highly worth it and they provide you with all the knowledge you need to make driving easier. They have a great communication system and all pupils are at heart, the way that they operate I have not seen anywhere else.

When I first started to look for driving school in the Branston area Mark stood out right away with great reviews. Choosing this driving school was definitely the right choice. I hadn’t drove for a couple of years prior and was originally nervous but Mark got me right back to where I left off right away! He helped me understand both cars I ended up driving. He was incredibly patient and always helpful when I’d made a mistake or could have done something slightly different with debriefs at the end of our lessons and it definitely all payed off. Passed first time, with zero minors, all thanks to Phil at Mark Jordan Driving School. Had a fantastic experience from start to finish and Phil helped me get over my initial anxieties over getting into a larger vehicle after riding motorbikes near daily for a number of years. Phil was calm, knowledgable and a great person to talk to and to get to know and kept the overall tone light whilst still making sure I knew where I was going wrong and how to improve. Honestly can't fault him, or his teaching methods one bit. If you are local to the area and need an instructor thats both professional and a delight to be around then you can't go wrong with this driving school. When finding a driving school I really valued good reviews, and its reputation from friends and family. After a positive recommendation and reading great reviews, I decided this was the best driving school for me. This was the correct decision, as I was originally very nervous prior to my lessons but mark was so friendly and easy to get on with, i was soon much less anxious. Additionally, marks teaching was great, I felt I really understood how the car worked and why I should make each decision. He was incredibly patient and encouraging even when mistakes were made. At the end of each lesson, we would discuss how I had driven and he let me identify my mistakes so we could find a solution for next time. These were also available for me to read in my notes, meaning I could prioritise fixing my weaknesses in my own practise. I am so happy to have passed with only 2 minors and first time, whilst I was shocked mark always believed I could do it. I could not have done it with any other instructor, and would 100% recommend Mark Jordan Driving School to others! I am so thankful and it’s great to be on the roads and confidently driving independently!

(Mia Webster)I found Mark Jordan online and contacted them to find an instructor available and was really pleased that they didn’t book a year in advance so was advised to contact at a certain date and was able to get a lesson with Richard Wall. I was nervous but definitely didn’t need to be Richard has been amazing. His instruction clear and great at reassuring you. When I was test ready and we were just waiting for my test to come up we had sporadic lessons just to keep a check on my driving and to practice things I was less confident about. I passed first time and that’s a massive thank you to Richard. So pleased I passed first time but will miss my lessons!Highly recommended

The most important criteria for me when choosing a driving school was finding someone with good reviews and that had availability to have regular lessons. Another important factor was choosing someone who had teaching methods that worked well for me and made me feel like everything was covered in detail and with lots of practice to make me feel more confident on the roads. Learning to drive was a lot less stressful than I expected as my instructor Mark was very calm and his teaching style was very structured which I think was very important in helping me to pass my test 1st time with no faults. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Jordan Driving School to others who are looking to learn to drive as the consistent and structured lessons help you become a confident and safe driver.
