LOVE this place!!! I came in with a seemingly unrepairable tennis bracelet and not only did they manage to fix it, they did it in under 20 minutes! The staff are unbelievable helpful and kind, truly the best experience going to a jewelers so far, they really take care of their customers and understand the importance of sentimental jewelry. The best part about them is they really don’t give up, they tried everything to fix my bracelet, especially since it was man made stones that can’t stand heat, they figured out how to mend it without melting it down and starting from scratch! Could not recommend Doble Jewellers more! I am extremely grateful to them and will be going for all future fixes!!
Charlotte of Doble's Exeter was incredibly helpful when we commissioned the firm to design and craft an engagement ring in platinum with a family sapphire and diamonds. Their own goldsmith has made a beautiful ring which is all the more special because it is bespoke and handmade. The insurance valuer was very impressed at the craftmanship and said it was such a pleasure to see a rare skill such as this still being provided today. I strongly recommend Doble's. The whole experience was wonderful and Charlotte made it fun and easy.

A lovely warm welcome at Doble Brixham today. I was welcomed by the most beautiful and friendly young lady called Marian, who was incredibly helpful and polite and patient. I have a hidden disability and this lovely young lady helped me find what I have been looking to find for quite a while. I was so glad this lovely lady found what I wanted . How lovely to find such a helpful and kind soul to go above and beyond to make my day. I was so relaxed in the company of Marian and a lovely surprise to walk out of Doble Brixham with exactly what I have been searching for. Please Doble Brixham look after this colleague because on my first visit to Doble Brixham, it certainly will not be my last, because of Marian and her lovely and professional attitude toward a person, who sometimes finds it a bit difficult to engage with strangers because of my disability. THANK YOU LOVELY LADY. I SINCERELY HOPE I HAVE THE PLEASURE OF MEETING YOU AGAIN. 😘

A Little Gem
I have always felt rather intimidated going into jewellers shops, but even though I only went in to buy something very modest in price my experiences at Doble in Brixham this week could not have been more positive. Though professional, the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. I cannot rate them highly enough.

I cannot recommend Ivor Doble enough. I had an issue with my engagement ring that left me really upset, but the team were immediately reassuring and professional, putting me completely at ease.
Charlotte was an absolute star — she handled everything from start to finish with such care and excellent communication throughout. I truly felt valued as a customer, which is rare to find these days.

My engagement ring was silver and I had the prongs snap off a couple of times which were fixed really quickly. Eventually we decided to get the ring made into platinum as it was too soft for everyday wear and I could not be happier with the results. It was cast into platinum using the same stones and it looks exactly the same just neater and shinier. Charlotte was so helpful and so friendly and made our experience so much less stressful. Couldn’t recommend enough
I highly recommend using Doble Jewellers. I recently used them to reset my engagement ring and I was impressed from start to finish. Charlotte was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and the workshop did an amazing job in realising my design. I'm over the moon with my new ring and can't thank them enough for making the process so enjoyable.
I have to be honest if u take items to doble for stone replacements on items that are not hallmarked the statch and test the gold. This is really annoying as when u buy geogian gold it is never hallmarked and sometimes u just needs stones replaced. I want to know why doble thinks it is suitable to test the gold when u only putting in another stone into the item when their is no need. This is not good but u are trusting them doing repair jobs but to statch and test antique jewellery it damages it.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the testing of your item. Stone replacements usually require setting work which could be why your item was tested to ascertain it's carat.
I have searched our system here in Sidwell Street and cannot see a record of your item coming into us for an estimate to replace stones. Nevertheless, we'd be more than happy to get the testing mark removed by our on site workshop if you could pop the item back into us.
