Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this clinic. I had a terrible first experience with a male doctor there who was extremly condescending and abrupt. I was unable to finish my sentence without him talking over me when I had attended for a bad migraine. It was as though there was judgement as I had attended Magnus instead of my usual GP. However I couldnt get in with my usual GP, and magnus has availability within a few hours - probably for a reason. I have also sent my brother there today for something simple, to which another doctor I selected due to my bad experience, was equally as abrupt and rude my brother reports. He stated everything he said was met with a stare of confusion and made him feel like she was really judgemental to his explanation of the issue. GPs are supposed to be healthcare 'professionals' that lead with compassion, as often you are dealing with vulnerable people or concerns. The bulk billing at GPs is rare these days, and although the cost of living is high I would still rather pay elsewhere if it means having doctors that lead and communicate in the way you woudl expect someone within that role.

Cannot recommend Magnus Medical enough. After many years of going to our local GP leaving sicker than when we went in we once again found ourselves disappointed with our service and decided to look elsewhere. Desperate for an appointment we rang several other practices in the area and only Magnus had appointments for the day. What followed absolutely floored me. The reception staff were helpful and polite from phone call to face to face, something we weren't used to. The practice itself is well looked after and created a calm waiting room ambience vs the normal screaming and franticness we were used to. The service from everyone that day from reception staff to Dr. Rizvi was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Dr. Rizvi was so kind and went into great detail and explored all options with us. Her care and patience assured us we were in the right hands finally. I will recommend them to everyone I can speak to!

Excellent service from all the doctors and nurses I have seen at Magnus Medical Glenroy. The staff are professional and kind. Due to the availability of appointments, I have been able to receive assessment and treatment for multiple health concerns in a timely manner. Plus the fact that they offer Medicare Bulk Billing makes life easier. Can’t recommend enough.

Consulted with Dr Dutta. Very disappointed. She was dismissive. Showed no patience, concern nor empathy as a doctor. In and out of consultation room rather hurriedly. I called after my appointment to ask for a doctors letter but was advised to book and pay for another consultation to get it which I did not agree to. Mohammed the practice manager then called me back and was very helpful, we really appreciated his efficiency.

Great care from Dr Fathima Rihana Rizvi. This was our first visit, and she was wonderful with our 2-month-old daughter. She was caring, thorough, and explained everything clearly. We felt very comfortable, and she will definitely be our GP moving forward. Highly recommended.
