I want to give a HUGE shout out to Carson and Jake! They moved us on Saturday in 105 degree heat for 8 hours and did an absolutely amazing job!. They had to move 2 houses and did it with such grace. They took such good care of our things and did it with such grace and they were so polite and courteous. We felt so bad for them and made sure they had ice cold water. We sound definitely have them move us again. Thanks again Carson and Jake!!😊
The team at Madison Smooth Moves was amazing!! This was my first time hiring a moving company and it couldn't have gone better. They were extremely careful with my belongings and took care loading and unloading. I would absolutely use them again when needed and recommend them to anyone.
Madison Smooth Moves was amazing from start to finish! My wife and I just bought a house, and with all the stress of moving it was great to deal with a such an amazing company! The guys showed up on time, looked professional, and were very hard working. They stayed on schedule and completed the move in the time frame they quoted. I would highly recommend this company.
Madison Smooth Moves was hired to help my mother in-law move on Monday May 5. The two person crew showed up on-time and proved to be just great. Both were professional, very friendly, polite, and personable.
The team was meticulous in wrapping the furniture in pads before moving it. They were respectful of the property. I must say that even the heaviest pieces - there's always at least one that feels like it should have been moved using a crane :-) - proved to be no challenge.
At the destination the guys were marvelous. The told mom and my wife to just sit by and relax. If the crew had questions, and there always are, they'd let them know. Delivery went smoothly, beds got re-assembled efficiently, and there was no mess to clean up!
When it was time to pay, the best news of all was that the bill came in UNDER the estimate. Great job MSM. I'll definitely recommend you to people moving in southern Wisconsin. You're fantastic.

They were going to move 1 heavy couch for me after a big move around 7:00-7:30 pm. By 9:45 the mover said he couldn't possibly make it over by 10:00 pm which was too late for the woman I bought the couch from. Instead of rescheduling they said they didn't have a truck in my area (11 minutes from Madison) in the future so they wouldn't accommodate me. I hired another company who was there when they said they would be and were very professional.
This company was extremely reasonably priced, which is a huge perk. One of the two guys I got was super friendly and flexible. He told me he would rearrange anything that wasn't where I wanted it, and he offered to take things I didn't want out to the curb for me which I did not ask for or expect. I will definitely use them again next time I move!
The moving team from Madison Smooth Moves did an excellent job. The movers were professional, friendly, very hard working, and efficient. They were careful but did not waste any time which is important when billing by the hour. This was the best moving experience I have ever had, and given my 67 years, that means a lot!
Smooth Moves were amazingly efficient and helpful during my complicated move in 90 + degree heat. They came after the usual working hours to meet my schedule in loading the truck. The next morning they met me at my new place to unload and put everything where I needed it. Highly recommend, especially if you are renting a truck and just hiring the labor.

My boyfriend & I just moved and we called Madison Smooth Moves to help us out. They called us back right away and made sure that they were able to help us on the day we needed. On moving day, Kye (hopefully that’s spelled right) & Anthony made sure to let us know of their arrival time and started moving stuff right away. They were extremely professional and ended up finishing 4 hours before the estimated finish time! I recommend this company if you need movers!

I cannot say enough good things about Brady and Madison Smooth Moves! I chose them to move my wife and I 16 hours half way across the country and it couldn’t have been an easier experience! I have had terrible moving experiences in the past and I have now seen what an A++ moving service looks like. When Brady, the owner, came to verify the load and create a quote for my wife and I, he thoroughly went over what the process would look like and all the legal policies that would protect both us and him throughout the move.
Madison Smooth Moves wasn’t the cheapest quote but also wasn’t the most expensive either. To be transparent, the Madison Smooth Moves quote was a nominal amount more than the cheapest reputable quote I received from another legitimate moving company. With that being said, I am more than happy with what we paid for the service we received. While all other major moving companies would have put us on a load with multiple other moves or freight, Madison Smooth Moves offered a service where we would be the only load on their truck.
When it came to moving day, Eli called and gave us a 30 minute heads up to prepare for their arrival. We had Sam and Eli arrive 10 minutes early and they got to work! They work as a full service mover so anything that was fragile, wood, or bulky, they made sure to wrap and protect! The truck was packed so well that I had no doubt that anything would move during the 16 hour trip across the country. Brady and Sam made it to our new city on time and communicated throughout the whole duration.
Upon arrival, the truck was opened and I was able to see that not a single thing had moved during their trip and boy, was I surprised. They traveled over multiple mountains, climbing 3000+ feet above sea level at times! Both ascent and descent of the mountains are gnarly, which I can vouch for, as I drove a similar way to get to the destination. Brady and Sam unloaded the truck in record time without causing as much as a scratch to the wall in my new home. They put the boxes where they belonged and asked questions if they didn’t know where we wanted something.
Brady, Sam, and Eli were amazing to work with. They were friendly, positive, and maintained an attention to detail that is second to none. It’s not often you find an owner of a company who is as hands on with the business as Brady is and I am so thankful I did my due diligence to find Madison Smooth Moves. Brady is an honest guy who goes out of his way to give you a great experience. It’s too bad I moved across the country because he is absolutely the type of person I would befriend!

Brady is so professional and kind. I was in a bind from a timing perspective and he went above and beyond to make my timeline work. They were fast and effective. I contacted him on a Friday and they and got everything moved from Madison to Ohio for me safely on Monday! Can't recommend them enough.

They added rates to the site of $159/hour. I assume that's per mover.
For my move (Madison to Milwaukee, equivalent to a 1 bedroom), that means they were quoting somewhere around 7 hours.
Just to put in perspective: it takes no more than 2 hours to get to Milwaukee from where I am. The number of items in question is no more than 2 hours - 1 hour to load, 1 hour to unload. So where's the other 3 hours coming into play? Not sure - their quote isn't itemized. But I didn't select them.
